Post by: featureslif on December 06, 2013, 08:48:23 PM
what the f* is going on stamp with the 800$ value. i just wonder.

maybe some people think that it's very cuteness point to buy or it's a bull trap and then we're going to <500 this weekend.

Could be a bull trap. Guess we all should watch and see. I don't think so IMHO.

I guess people think that 1000$ is a sure bet sooner or later so 800 looks cheap and promises a fast 25% return.

I don't trade (buy and hold only) so I really don't have a dog in this fight, but just about every sign on every exchange (except btcchina who is still asleep) is screaming bull trap

Care to point out those signs to the rest of us. I hear hoarders and bulls talking about bear traps but noone provides any real data on that.

Not allways. On the larger scale, yes. But we won't reach the moon, sooner or later bitcoin will collapse.
Why use a cryptocurrency with 1/21 premined and only 21 Million units (I know you can split 1 btc in 100'000'000 Satoshis) ?

Bitcoin is just a scheme with the goal to redistribute wealth from some speculators to the poor basement kid (early adopter/miner). Not many people win.

What is the big advantage?
If you want to transfer large amounts of money worldwide, you would better choose a (nearly) fixed price cryptocurrency a highly fluctuating one.
Storing Wealth? High risk -> the price only stay as high as long as there are new buyers with fresh fiat money -> there is NO unlimited exponential growth -> collapse
Buy Drugs or do anything illegal? Better use unmarked USD bills  ;)
