Gweedo - Thanks for the correction.  You're right, my understanding of "provably fair" was wrong and I used the phrase incorrectly.  I apologize.  I'll see if I can edit my original post to correct the error.

The site does use Poker Mavens software.  They provide a card shuffling simulator (http://www.briggsoft.com/docs/pmavens/Utilities.htm#shuffle) to test the system, but that doesn't make it "provably fair."  I would like to offer a "provably fair" system in the future and will investigate how that might be possible.

1.  Emails are needed so you don't get locked out of your account (and your bitcoins).  Without email there is no way to verify the account owner and reset your password.  That's the main reason, but it's also needed for most of the social features on the site to notify you about friend requests, forum posts, etc.  If you're really against it, you can enter a fake email and you'll still be able to register.

2.  The site is only a few days old, and I haven't done any promotions other than posting here on Bitcointalk.  There are currently 10 ring games with a wide variety of buy-in levels.  There is a freeroll starting tonight (see my next post!) and I'll be announcing some tournaments in the next few days.  I expect you'll be seeing a lot more players online soon.

Starting today, and everyday at 8pm and 11pm EST (-0500 UTC).  If these times aren't good for you, let me know what time you'd like to see.

Is the site running rudimentary bots on the cash tables as a sort of bonus?

I just cleaned out someone at both 25/50 and 100/200, and they both played the most botlike poker possible.

All users that have posted so far have received their 200 free chips.  There are still a few more chips left if anyone wants to try out the site.

There are now some low stakes SNG tournaments.  And there is a low stakes ring game as well, with a 40 chip buy-in, 2 chip BB (0.0004 BTC buy-in and 0.00002 BTC big blind, you can't get much lower than that!).


Firefox 11 and higher is supported and I works fine for me.  Any browser that supports HTML5 should work, including IE 10+, FireFox 11+ (Windows/Android), Chrome 14+ (Windows/Android/iOS), Opera 12.1+, Safari 6+ (Mac/iOS).  Tablets and smartphones are also supported.

I send you a PM to see if we can figure out the problem.

What time is the lobby set to? I'm seeing freerolls at 17:00 and 20:00, but its past 5pm est and the 17:00 hasn't started. EDIT: Apparently I accidently changed my time setting to pacific time.

Was wondering what was going on. Not that I'm complaining   ;D. If you want a prop for the micro/small stakes cash PM me. We can probably come to some arrangement if you are interested.

Started playing yesterday.

Here is some feedbacks:

- Good software; cash-in - cash-out system work well. Did you do that alone ?  :o
- Would be nice to have some options at the table like "sound on/off" and a fancys skin / avatars for the table and the players (see, the skins at fulltiltpoker for example).

- the tournament structure is not very clear in the "tournament info". For example, for the 4 players 45+5 Sit&Go, you write:
Entrants   Payouts (%)
2-7        65.00 35.00

What does that mean ?

- The freerolls is a good idea to obtain a first base of players. However, it starts at 2 a.m (for most of Europeans, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Roma, etc.) and 5 a.m. This is more adapted for Americans than Europeans. I suggest to have at least one which starts around 8 p.m.
