Title: Any thoughts on BFL's pay per GH cloud mining?

Very inexpensive compared to CEX.io, with promises to be able to use it towards whatever pool you want. (Or so I gather.) Of course, it's currently a preorder, and BFL isn't #1 when it comes to being on time; so I have to doubt their launch date. Either way, I preordered one GH, just for kicks. If it proves to be successful, I may invest more.

So, any thoughts?

Not worth it.  If you are in it for money just buy BTC at the next drop.

FYP.

BTC mining is lol right now. You are up against professional mining consortiums, mining hardware manufacturers, institutional investors, and razor thin margins in the face of rapidly increasing difficulty. Cloud hashing is a cool way to get a taste of mining, but Im guessing many people will leave that restaurant unsatisfied or wishing they could get a refund.

I make roughly BTC0.011 per day, just using my 7950. 1gh/s is double the speed I have.

I switch between alt-coins, and it pays a LOT more than mining raw bitcoin does for me. Mining bitcoin isn't even profitable for me, as the 0.00004 I would be making doesn't break even with electricity costs.

Please take note, the BFL mining is a PRE-ORDER....... ::)

We've all seen how BFL does on those, by the time they activate the damn thing's your return could be $5 a year..

But yes if they went live the minute you paid, the rate is actually pretty decent right now!

I think you should go to this link

I have more links

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=328996.0

this is a hashing black arrow project we have made a cash/fiat profit, but it is not perfect just so-so or good   .  it is slower black arrow gear then what you are looking at but it is a lifetime contract

this is the dZcoop list

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=315198.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=334360.0   this is a big winner in cash fiat prices.

I turned 3 k into 6k with them in under 2 months.

If I was spending money I would want 20 shares in the r17 buy.  20 shares would be 2600. 20 shares would be 800gh

you would mine in feb not march and your contract would not run out in 4 months.   if I was afraid to spend 2600 on the r17 (which I am afraid to do I would spend 1300 and get 400gh lifetime.

I suppose  the 4 month could be better but I know dZcoop has had 6 rounds of buys that made money and were on time for the most part.

I would only buy from BFL if I'm going to sell the pre-order item on ebay then buy and hold BTC. By the time they deliver, the difficulty rating is way too high. I don't have any experience with their cloud hashing service, but since its a pre-order, I'll pass.
