I recently joined here and I want to know if and how I can benefit from airdrops. A lot of my friends are into it.

Just read them and do what you're being asked.
You will need a myetherwallet address and probably a twitter and telegram account.
It's the easiest thing to do, just search a bit by yourself.

Well, we must start that airdrop is a free distribution of coins for the dissemination of information in the social. networks, etc.

don't waste your time over 99 percent of them are scams or worthless. They are just attempts to hack you and get your personal info.

There are a lot of telegram channels that notifies subscribers of upcoming one. Join them and you fill a google form with your ether address. If there is any task attached,do it and claim your tokens.

Buy and Hodl NEO! There are several great projects choosing to be in the NEO ecosystem and often have airdrops. These airdrops have actual value unlike many ERC20 tokens. I will share links to my blog so that you can see other great airdrops and bounties that are part of NEO.

It's hard to find legit airdrops this days

But I'll advise you to build your social media platforms and start bounty which is a lot better.

First you need a myetherwallet (MEW) address, a twitter, facebook and telegram account. Just be careful when joining and do your own research. Most of airdrops are shitcoins and just to gain followers and audience others want to scam you if you accedentaly put your ERC20 private key. Out of my 5 airdrops only 1 succeeded.

airdrop is easy and a very simple task.allmost all of them are asking about the tweet like and share and ask to fill out a google form with those report. also, they collect your eth or wallet address for giving you the coin.
next time, I mean after getting the coin you can sell them into the marketplace(when the coin would come into a market).in this way airdrop is beneficial.

The Power of NEO-Airdrop Announcements!!!

I have been a fan of NEO for a while now and the benefits are amazing!! Several airdrops were announced this week for NEP-5 token holders.

The newest airdrop announcement comes from Travala (AVA), (previously Concierge (CGE),recently rebranded), to qualify for the AVA airdrop you need to have at least 2000 Switcheo (SWH) in your NEO wallet. Master Contract Airdrop

Yesterday, May 9th, there was an announcement that all NEO addresses that had received a transfer of any NEP-5 token on the NEO mainnet before May 8, 2018 would receive 1000 Master Contract Tokens (MCT). So that means if you at any point, prior to May 8th, had an NEP-5 token in your wallet, you will get 1000 MCT for each token. There is always some kind of great announcement with NEO and NEP-5 tokens. I am very impressed with the NEO ecosystem community and the way the teams work together and help each other out. Bounty section provide you a lots of ICO that is still on progress. You should check the ICOs if they had airdrop so you can join. Every airdrop had it's own task to earn free tokens. You can check the links provided in here. I did join some airdrops and i recieved tokens after I completed their task needed. Every airdrop want you to do it's task given to you. I suggest you to join airdrop channels that provide any kinds of ico that had airdrops. An example of telegram group that provide airdrop links are given by payjoe93.

Is it possible to earn something from this, or all these companies do not live up to the moment of profit payment ?

Airdrops is very great source of income. But for this you need to find out legit and real airdrops. If you looking for some legit airdrops, then you can research all of them on thia forum.

No it's not a great source of income. You shouldn't even treat it that way.

Finding for a legit airdrop is also hard nowadays if you will just take a survey on most of the airdrop lovers.
