Just enter drugstore, market or whatever and ask (even when they will obviously say no) - DO YOU ACCEPT BITCOINS? ;D You cant explain the salesman what Bitcoin is but by asking like this he will -eventually- do some research to find it out. So next time you go to the store to get something, regardless what and where, just pop the question! I even emailed Wikipedia to chastise them for not having a wallet address and QR code on their donations page, especially during their current funding drive.
