Title: Twinfury USB ASIC miner | 4.5 - 5GH/s
Post by: aauer1 on December 07, 2013, 01:10:55 PM
Hi fellow miner,

I have some Twinfurys I want to sell. Twinfury is a small USB Bitfury ASIC miner equipped with TWO Bitfury chips. This miner reaches a hashrate between 4.5  and 5 GH/s and is only powered from the USB port.
The design is a further development of the very popular and successful Blue-/Redfury design.

If you are interested visit our online shop at: http://minecoin.net/shop (http://minecoin.net/shop)

For those who are interested in more details there is a thread about the Twinfury on this forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345294 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345294)

Way way overpriced, but a neat toy for the miner who can afford to toss some satoshi your way just to have a "trinket"

It's not overpriced if you consider that some of these devices are sold for more than 600 EUR on ebay. You can resell it with good profit.

I know, but I'm not looking to rip off some fool on ebay, I want to mine with them. I just want one at a reasonable price to have as a sort of nice bitcoin toy without wasting money by overpaying.

Jacking the price on us, because we can jack it on someone else is not the way tod o it. sell for a real price. or put it on ebay.

I'd actually buy a few at a decent price

there is very stupid sheeple out there buying in fruitless prices:

like 893€

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Bi-Fury-USB-Bitcoin-ASIC-Miner-mit-ueber-wahnsinnigen-5-GH-s-Sofort-Lieferung-/251395338753
3) It is not a secret that many neighbours here buy miners in groupbuys to flip it in ebay for double the price.

you really need to reconsider your prices or you're gonna look like rip off master..
you know what a fallacy is?
false dichotomy; let me help you with an example:
"either you use U$dollars/€uros or you are a trrrrrist/pedophile/druglord"

you really need to reconsider your prices...
welcome to the sheeple market a.k.a. supply and demand : an economic model of ... price determination !!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply_and_demand (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply_and_demand)
I know, but I'm not looking to rip off some fool on ebay, I want to mine with them.
We all believe every word.
Don´t go the "it is not fair" route,
If we were living in a fair society we would not need any bitcoins whatsoever...

I just want one at a reasonable price to have as a sort of nice bitcoin toy without wasting money by overpaying.
I just want a white pegasus, and a white Lambo.
But I think the pegasus is not gonna happen.

Worry not, someone will come along and provide the supply. There is money to be made even at lower prices.

I can provide you with a white pegasus, but due to the laws of supply and demand it will cost you 1 million bitcoins, both items are equally ephemeral ;)

you must be making a small fortune selling these for 290 euro whats that a 5000% mark up?

BTC0.2 would be a better all round price, at least that way you wont get ppl talking smack about them being a rip off

I have found out pegasus are like fair-priced bitcoin miners: very very rare!
Specially the white ones!

Thanks!
ad hominem, great argument!

now, back to this forum...

1) are there any further products other than the usb hub? (that can be solved with cheap usb extensions)

2) I mean, there must be something after the bi*furys and twinfurys right?
right?

Realistically plugging these in right this second may not ever mine you 0.2 ever.

Yea but at least at 0.2 bitcoin you would have more people buying and theres a chance of recovering your investment

BTW, you ordered 2 Twinfurys and payed for the shipping twice. We ship the two miners with one package. If you want, we would give you a refund of 20 EUR in BTC (it's about 0.03 BTC I guess).

Best regards,
the Minecoin Team

Hi,
all orders till today has already been shipped. For destinations in Germany, we shipped it directly from Germany this time. So, it should arrive earlier.

Just for your information... from the first batch there are about 50-70 units in stock. For those of you who consider to order some of them, we are closed during X-mas holidays. This means that the order will be shipped this year if you order till Dec 19th midnight (European time). Later orders won't be shipped until Jan 2nd or 3rd.

Maybe the shipping notification got catched by your spam filter. I usually send an email to everyone after shipping with the tracking number.

Sorry, but I'm not able to accept paypal payments at the moment. But this is on top of the list of things I'm working on. But probably not until the next batch of Twinfurys.

Holy hardware errors batman

So enlighten me on the advantages of paying $344 plus shipping for a 4.5-5GH/s unit when a 10GH/s Blade is the same price, just so I can resell it on Ebay?  I guess I just don't get it.  I could resell the Blade on Ebay too, so this logic just doesn't work.

With those hardware errors, the loss of an additional port on most USB hubs and the outrageous price, you should be supplying free Vasoline with all orders.  I might consider one at $150 but at $344 the Blade (10Gh/s) at $210 or even the Cube (30-38GH/s) at $493 makes more sense.  Don't be stupid people.

Well since BTC went up and there were deliver issues with the Cubes, now you can't.  However you can still get the Blades at 0.38 BTC/$270 US here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375247.0) or the Cubes at 0.89 BTC/$632 US here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=339458.0).

$329.81 for 5GH or $66/GH, at these prices they weren't built for mining, they were simply built for gouging the BitCoin/Ebay Community.  Even the Red Fury at $125 for 2.5GH or $50/GH is a better deal and even those are too expensive.
