That site is a reputable site, they sell a lot of things, not just these. I ordered lot of stuff before, and just look at the reviews if you are skeptical.
Just don't buy their PC parts, super expensive.

I buy stuff there pretty often, shipping takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months (during chinese new year).

is there such thing as single ribbon since pci-e is double sided?

This price isn't all that special. www.9mart.com has been selling extenders @ 2 for $9 (free shipping) for a long time.

I've ordered from Dealextreme quite a few times and their avg. shipping time from China is 3-8 weeks.

Also many of the products are very low quality or have to be RMA'd right away due to being defective.
I would never put cheap ribbon cables in my mining rigs just to save a few bucks. But do as you wish

They are reputable and I've bought many things (gadgets) from them. Batteries holders, iphone usb cable (<US$2). Prices include shipping so it's really cheap.

You pay for what you get. But some are great bargains. I got a ipad bluetooth keyboard for half the price there compared to another site (thinkgeek.com).

If you are building new rigs, check out their "Bulk rate". $3.49 shipped if you order 10+ units.  ;D

Their customer service (email) is fast and responsive.

The absolute turnoff is their in-determinant shipping time. Shipping is 2 weeks to 8 weeks like Jack of Diamonds said. Sometimes I would have forgotten about a purchase and then it turns up at my doorstep. (yap, I checked out the shopping basket worth $1.99. No minimum purchase.)

Comparatively 9mart.com ships faster, from hong kong as well.

It's a nice site I'll buy things from, but if you are in a hurry, you'll hate them.

+1 on 9mart...they took a few weeks but they state that.

Dealxtreme is good too...I have ordered things from them in the past.

9mart is actually a Canadian company, although most (maybe all) of their products come from Hong Kong.  2 for $9 is a great deal too; I actually have some in the mail right now from them. :)

Me too. Because of this, I recommend getting the double cables (or triple for x16 extenders). The 9mart cables are double for x1 and triple for x16 (but this doesn't by itself guarantee they are good quality).

I placed an order with 9mart on 8-6-11 and I just received the items today, on 8-17-11.  Considering that I ordered on a Saturday you could knock a couple days off of that, but you need to be prepared for it to take up to 2 weeks... which is pretty much what their web site says.

Agree. I had a similar experience, in fact, the product I received from 9Mart.com (heard simewhere it's located in Canada?) was shipped from Hong Kong.
