Title: Cryptsy Internal Errors
Post by: cmpbllbobby on December 07, 2013, 03:12:58 PM
Hello all, complete newb here.  Anyone having issues with transferring BTC to Cryptsy?  Everytime I click on "view all transfers in" i get an internal error.  I did the transfer last night before bed and they're still not showing up.  I sent a small test amount first, which still shows as "pending".  Once I saw it was pending I assumed all was good so I sent the rest that I wanted to move over to buy some alt coin.  The blockchain has like 80 confirmations so why isn't it showing up in Cryptsy still?  I'm simply not savvy enough yet to troubleshoot myself.  I sent a message to support but don't have a lot of faith in a prompt response.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

i have been robbed blind by cryptsy, the system has completely robbed me, cannot withdraw my funds, as my balance is stating (wrongly) that i am in debt in GLD and cryptsy points

i just want to withdraw what little i have left, without losing more, but cannot

They are having growing pains, that is all. Admins are generally pretty quick to address any support issues.

Yesterday everything was broken on Crypsty. Tried this morning and everything is going smoothly, quick transactions etc... I even gotten all the coins I lost during trades. Try contacting the support/or contact BigVern on Twitter.

well they have not fixed mine, no reply on tickets, no anything - i just feel that i have been left robbed - now i need >8000 GLD to even put my account in clear to withdraw, but i dont have it......?????

so my BTC are locked up and i cannot do anything :(

if i buy myself out of the fake debt, i will be 0.5 bitcoin down- the crazy thing is, i never had 10,000 in GLD just 2728 GLD that i withdrew as i was preparing to leave cryptsy, and my balance read minus -10,000 odd - so being honest i sent the 2728 GLD back in to help the audit, BIG MISTAKE, as thats now been swallowed by the debt and they haven't resolved it - now my balance says minus 8192 GLD

someone please help!!

I did not contact the support and it got fixed after I woke up.
Maybe you should wait a little and come back tomorrow?

http://it.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1s73f7/i_have_sent_back_the_60_btc_i_was_mistakenly_able/

the above link does not fill me with confidence, it appears that people have been withdrawing funds they don't have, and somehow it has landed on MY lap :(

edit: turns out this was a troll!!

I have also lost coins on cryptsy in the last day although they claim its an issue on my end... (Im new to cryptsy and coins in general so maybe there right?)

Could one of you nice folks here possibly run me through the steps they provided for recover? Heres the response I got:

>First your going to want to dump the private key of your wallet run the command dumpprivkey followed by your address

>You will want to save a copy of the key and a backup of your wallet.

>Then close your client and leave it closed for some time. At least a few hours. This will give any bans you may have received >from being on the bad fork time to expire

>If you have a backup of your wallet.dat then go ahead and delete everything in your appdata/roaming/CoinName folder

>Then restart the wallet and let it download the chain until synced

>Once synced run the command importprivkey followed by your private key

It was for a small amount of quark coins... my issue is I have no idea which address im dumping my private key to. Is it an address in my wallet (eg recieve section)? I have no idea how to do this... Judging by some of the other responses Ive heard, maybe i should just cut my losses and stop using cryptsy....

Everything worked out and my BTC deposit showed up this morning.  Stressful 24 hours though.  Quick trading transactions this morning as well.  I'm new to Cryptsy and really like the functionality of the site.  I hope they can keep the bugs out.
