I was just wondering what possible scenarios could arise? Any ideas?

But you do not need to be too worried.
Just go to https://www.bitaddress.org to create new btc addresses. Save the private keys, and give the public keys to receive coins.
You can go to https://blockchain.info to check the balance of the addresses.

And if you need to spend the coins, just create a online wallet to https://blockchain.info , import the wallet by setting the private key, and spend it all (to the guy you need to send it, and if you have some spare coins, the an other address you own which is not linked yet)

yea the worst thing is that everyone in the world can see all your transactions, if bitcoin gets more in to the shopping scene and lets say you pay bitcoins for pornsite then everyone can see it  :D

Well, anyone can post any btc address.
And you don't know who is the (real) owner the address.

That's not true. The other thing you can do with an address is see all transactions to and from that address. The worst that can happen is that someone could use this information to determine who you are, who's paying you, what they're paying you for, and what you're spending your money on. To help protect your privacy, it is recommended that you generate a new address each time you wish to receive coins from someone, and don't reuse the same address for multiple payments or publicly post your addresses unless you're aware of the privacy implications.

Will the wallet software run slower if I generate a lot of address (to use different address for different deal, and never reuse address)??

no it will not run slower

The worst thing that can happen is you receive some precious Bitcoin from another anonymous address!
