Title: Issues using a restored wallet.dat from 2011 HD. Post by: JeremyLau on December 07, 2013, 08:41:53 PM I have my original Bitcoin data directory, but even when I restore my original wallet.dat file into a pristine directory, using the same app version as originally used, I get this error:
EXCEPTION: 11DbException Db::open: Invalid argument bitcoin in AppInit() When I try this with the latest BitcoinQT: wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed I have tried two backups, and I seem to get the same issue... Then install the new version and import your old private key.
