Title: [SCAMMER] WishIStartedSooner
Post by: bitmarket.io on December 08, 2013, 12:59:15 PM
If this person PMs you, DO NOT CLICK ON ANY OF HIS LINKS!

He sent me a PM claiming he had 2 Neptunes pre-ordered.  In it he had some link to 'some' user's profile he claimed would handle the escrow service. That link was FAKE and for the soul purpose of phishing. And when I responded demanding receipts and called him out about the funny link, he immediatly responds claiming someone hacked his account... and I happened to be his target... what a joke. This guy is a total scammer. He didn't even follow the instructions in my WTB topic about the Neptunes.  Here is a screenshot:

Can't trust anyone. Not even Sr. members.  Then again, even VPIs catch a severe case of greed. See the case of TradeFortress. :)

The same user sent me PM but without link.

But user btcinstant did sent the same link.
If you click it, it looks like you are not logged in. and it asks you to login again.
So your account and password will be sent to this scammer.
I had to change password and I hope he did not use my account to do the same. (i'm afraid he did)

SO BE AWARE !

If you can't ensure your own account's security such that stuff like this happens, your account isn't particularly trustworthy, you know.

I'm saving this quote just for the very unlikely case you ever amount to anything, so I can quote back at you just how fucking stupid you were in your early days.

The much much fatter chance is, of course,

How come your ignore button is dark orange? I really enjoy your posts. Bit dickish at times, but always entertaining. [/offtopic]

The lifecycle of your average scammer is making some sort of scam, getting called out by me, getting pissed off, making some sockpuppets to argue the point, getting eviscerated in public while pushing their postcount up, getting pissy, ignoring me, and disappearing.
