Title: [GLB] - Globe Giveaway for Linux Users
Post by: sphere on December 08, 2013, 08:57:35 PM
100 globes for first 5 people who have the new Linux binary or qt. Post your address below.

Globe Linux daemon: http://speedy.sh/hcD7P/globed-no-dem

Globe Linux QT: http://www.speedyshare.com/W8vh6/globe-qt-no-dem

If you do not have one of these binaries or QTs you will not be able to receive the Globes due to the hard fork.

Indeed it does :) congrats. I will be sending can you confirm if you received the first 100 and if the demurrage is no longer effective? ( If you don't see the 100.00 value of your balance reduce in 10mins it means the demurrage code deletion was successful. I will send following 100 once you confirm.

Ok sent other 100. 0 confirms probably because miners are using old version. mine if you want or you will need to wait until miners realize the issue and switch.

Are mined blocks under the old client going to be valid under the new client?

If not, you'll have some pissed off miners.

Old blocks will be valid as long as they have not transferred between accounts.

I hope I'm not too late! I'm a long-time Linux user, and I'm glad to see you support the platform! (So many of the new altcoins are Windows-only)
