This is the Thursday before SXSW, so it's a great opportunity to catch both events in the same weekend.

Here is info on renting the track.  We've done this a few times at various venues around the world...great fun indeed.  Was at the inaugural F1 USGP two years ago and I can attest that this is one of the absolute most spectacular layouts Hermann Tilke ever created.

Because SXSW (http://sxsw.com) is a major event, and satellite events such as this are scheduled immediately before.

Oh.. duh. I should of known that I suppose. Admittedly I haven't been to a concert in a while.. I do love music though. I was in a band for a long time in my younger years and used to make monthly trips trips to Austin to go see bands perform. I need to start doing more of that.. it's no fun getting old and having responsibilities. :)

I decided to chose Lakeway Resort and Spa on Lake Travis.

I'm going to be there 3/6 (when I made travel arrangements, only the hackathon was scheduled for 3/5).

Looking forward to networking with some miners and remittance-focused developers. Also going to see as much of Cointerra as I can. See you all there!

Way the hell down in San Marcos, because Austin is stupid expensive. Saved about $200 flying into San Antonio instead of Austin, too.

Damnit Goat! Your godamn Lamborghini distracted me when I saw it in the window in the middle of my presentation. And it was my first time speaking, too. If the video ever comes out, and you see me suddenly stare off into the distance and trail off while mumbling something about a Lamborghini, that's all your fault!

I mistook Justus Ranvier for Davi Barker entirely too frequently. Although I'm certain that the two are the exact same persoon with a split personality.
