Title: Coinbase sell order 'cancelled'? Post by: jbord39 on December 09, 2013, 07:55:38 AM So December 4th I sold .75BTC at 1200 for $830 on Coinbase.
Or so I thought. The next morning I received an e-mail 'You just received .75 BTC'. I checked my Coinbase account and sure enough I got back the exact amount I sold the night before. Now when I check the Buy/Sell history it still shows up as a sale, but if you click on the actual transaction the status is cancelled. How is it fair that they cancel your BTC sale? Title: Re: Coinbase sell order 'cancelled'? Post by: jbord39 on December 09, 2013, 12:00:59 PM No one?
It just seems like this sort of thing would really reduce their credibility. Title: Re: Coinbase sell order 'cancelled'? Post by: jbord39 on December 09, 2013, 09:58:05 PM So I put in a support ticket and have searched the internet like a madman. I can't find any other problem similar to this at all.
Am I really the ONLY person who has had a sell order on Coinbase cancelled? Title: Re: Coinbase sell order 'cancelled'? Post by: kireinaha on December 10, 2013, 12:25:08 AM You didn't get any kind of reason for the sale cancellation?
Title: Re: Coinbase sell order 'cancelled'? Post by: jbord39 on December 10, 2013, 01:18:02 AM You didn't get any kind of reason for the sale cancellation? No. They didn't even tell me the sale was cancelled (via e-mail or notification or anything). I just noticed by going through history that the transaction is listed as cancelled. I am really confused and feel like this should be a big no-no. Especially since when I sold it was at $1200 per coin. Title: Re: Coinbase sell order 'cancelled'? Post by: jbord39 on December 10, 2013, 09:57:18 PM I just wanted to let everyone know that I e-mailed Olaf and he credited me the difference that I lost from the sale order being cancelled. Took less than 18 hours.
Thanks very much. |
