Following the rate at which it is growing/rising, before the august, it should break $2000 because some more investors will invest and some more altcoins will use it as a means of exchange.

I've been thread like this hundreds of times
will break 1000 , 2000,6000 or 10000 usd
most of them asking because they buying in the high price

but if u ask when ?
of course nobody know
even dev team .
most of predict people on Q4 this year will break up
but I do not really believe that

If i only knew... i wouldn't be on this board typing, but chilling on a 5-star beach resort ;D

Nobody knows, buy something for the right reasons and not because other people make predictions, you will end up holding the bag.

when ETH will  not depend on BTC

It depends on How BTC moves. But in my own observation now most of the new coins using ethereum network. So there's a possibility it will go up Soon  ;D

Tomorrow?  In 1 year?

Never maybe! 
The problem is that every day the same questions come up (same thing for BTC).

Stay cool, hope for the best but anticipate the worst!  And think of something else!

Just waiting for ETH time to reach $ 2000,
all can happen more and more people know about bitcoin, ETH, and cryptocurrency then crypto users will increase the price of crypto also increase.

I cannot really predict when ethereum will break this value but will wish for it to hit that amount soon as it is one of the most stable and potential coin in crypto. It might not reach that amount this year but should by next year before the second quarter as some more icos will continue to use its blockchain for their transactions and these should help boost the market price.

Nobody has any idea of the evolution of the price of Ethereum. But, personally, I think it is the cryptocurrency with the most potential.

I think Ethereum will reach $2000 in 2018.

Smart contracts are a true killer feature. Something that can change the world. Nobody has any idea of all the possible applications of a such disruptive technology. We have seen p2p loans, digital decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), and ICOs, but it is only the beginning.

Currently Ethereum is number 2, but one day it will be number 1. Because from a technological perspective it is far superior.

No one can predict the price I think. But I hope it can break $1,000 at the end of 2018.  ;D
And wait till reach the next level, $2,000.

We all cannot predict exactly what will happen to a coin at any particular time as it might break that amount tomorrow or even next 2 or three years. We can only wish for the market to recover fast and prices of crypto should rise again and I know ethereum has the potential to rise very fast and it might break that amount next year or by 2020.

2 years timeframe should be enough to see ETH breaking $2,000. Riding along with the predictions about bitcoin that it can grow more than $30,000 this year so the chance for ETH to break $2,000 this year is there.

But don't be too hopeful so that you'll not expecting that much to happen so if it will not breakthrough this year, we can have hopes for 2019 and with 2020.

As the crypto market grows, those popular coins has the chance to grow because they get support from the community so ETH does.

When bitcoin reach $25K.
I don't think bitcoin will reach 25K so I don't think ethereum will break $2000.
My crystal ball stopped working in December 2017. so i can't give you correct information  ;D

I do not know when eth will reach $ 2,000 because btc prices are now down so it's hard to predict when eth will go up to $ 2000, but I'm sure it will go up to $ 2000 maybe 2 more years.

On 30th Feb 2019, the ETH price will be exactly $3477 and that's over 6x profit if you buy now.

Buy tons of ETH now and enjoy tons of cash at the beginning of new year. Don't ask this type of question again, just sit back and start days counting.

This sounds sarcastic but I like your positiveness about Ethereum. How did you come to this conclusion?

I like ethereum's chances for breaking 2,000 - It's sparking up interest from alot of investors, major ones at that so I believe in its success.

It is really not easy to predict a coin in crypto because it is volatile but with the rate at which etherum rises when the market is growing up, I think buy the second quarter of next year, It should break more than $2000 because it has a very good potetial.

By the end of 2017 I have thought of this. But it does not happen. Now, with the present situation, I think what you say is impossible

No one knows when the price of a coin/token will reach a certain value according to op.
This kind of posts is meaningless and you will be able to see a lot of posts like this frequently.
If someone can predict or knows the future value then aren't we the richest person in the world?

I like Ethereum and I do always have positiveness about it and I also want the price to go at my imagination or above.

That value was just my imagination when I was writing the post.

I thinks its not impossible for etherwum to break $2000. It is the most used currency and buyers have a high demand to it.

I’ve been waiting for that moment since the day I’m holding eth, but luck and prayers won’t be enough. It’s just that it can’t overpass the shadow of bitcoin and remain just an alternative to it. The fact that it is popular then the potential is big, but that’s it! it is nearing the time for a massive increase and it will eventually happen in the future. When? It’s unknown.

The break of ETH is depend on quality of ICO's; as you know lots of ico accept ETH payment as a major cryptocurrency. So if we see new, high quality icos; it will effect the price of ETH.

As many ICOs "stack" on Ethereum foundation the demand goes higher leading to higher prices.

It is more likely to reach 2000 as long as BTC leads the way to growth.

Is it real that Ethereum in the coming years has reached $ 2000? Well, possible is everything. Ethereum has enormous potential and support hundreds of big companies. There are also dozens of startups on this platform, which are widely used by Ethereum Blockchain. If developers will be able to overcome all the obstacles, the platform in five years can become a cryptocurrency colossus.

As long as crypto remains volatile, anything can happen to a coin. With the good potentials of ethereum and the rate at which icos are adopting the blockchain for transactions, I believe ethereum should break $2000 by first quarter of 2019 as long as the price of bitcoin keeps increasing.
