This is not an unreal website, while new, it is still used. The reason for it being on this URL and still attached to the site I used to make it, is because the website has been giving me trouble about changing my domain and I am not able to access it from the domain I would like. Believe what you will though. I appreciate what you are doing for DTC all the same.

If I do a blog post about Datacoin on my blog, tweet, g1, digg and like can I also earn some DATACOIN? I don't have a job because they don't employ peeps like me over 35 we are useless to the mainstream community of employment s I try to work from home and I am putting all my energy now into this new Crypto Movement because it ties with what I believe in. :) I am also one by one trying to get all my friends and online buddies to adopt Cryptos as well so I am getting the word out on a one to one basis too.. :)

What exactly do you mean by promotion? I would like to do that.

I found a data coin wallet that could be useful for anyone that is new or looking for storage it looks pretty good. Didn't know if you had seen it already. IDK if it qualifies but thought it might be helpful.

Blog posts, writing articles (technical and economical), attracting people. I cannot handle all this work myself, so need community members to help with that.

At the moment it's in its early stages but basically it's the startup of a data coin wallet and it has free download for you to try out if you want. I was just looking and found it and thought you might want to have a look. It seems to be a third party but there is no charge involved so this is the trial period. Take a look

Yep, I'm aware.  This is to more frequently update news from a 3rd party source, giving financial advice etc.  More than just the standard Twitter account.

Think the equivalence of https://twitter.com/BitCoinInsider in proportion to something like https://twitter.com/bitcoininfo.  We're focusing on advising buyers and helping them along their journey with Datacoin.  This should make buyers hopefully more comfortable and aware of the changes in the market.

Cryptsy has a lot of problems now, but admins told that Datacoin can be added very soon. I think they want to fix all issues prior to adding new coins

I noticed this though:

At first page search engine never works. you have to go to datacoin explorer pad to actually search. And also if you put your address with a "space" in the end it fails to search. Its actually not big problems but maybe they can be fixed within a few minutes ;)

Useful when you experience crashes or long lasting connection problems on a box operating autonomously (i. e. PC during the night or a VPS). Readme file on a github tells the rest.

Hey i dont really know how those things works. If it is legit and someone can say it is and also is what i have in mind it is very useful. I am waiting for someone to test it :)

I recommend for everybody to check the code, especially in crypto world, and especially if it's a bash script or something similar you can review in a moment (and script-kiddie can write in a moment). Just to know that `sudo rm -rf /` is not there. It's really not that hard, and if you are already playing with Linux then it's really beneficial to know shell (bash is linux shell language). Well, I may rewrite it little nicer, but it works for me.

I totally want to know more about linux but i dont know from where to start... I have started learning a few things from previous month and i am excited but i need a lot of work...

I remember when I first time left the nice gui world of XP and installed Ubuntu few years ago (2007?)... You need to install the system then crash the system and make kernel panic few times without giving up, and thats just a beginning ;D

I read about what the new Earthcoin forum is doing and I believe Netcoin(NET) did the something similar. When you make a post, new topic etc you are credited a small amount of coins to your account. Since the DTC forum is need of more traffic we could try something similar? It seems to me it is a good incentive for new adopters/users.

I have no idea what it would take to "code" this into the forum(IDK if I'm even using the right words). Giveaways take time and cost quite a lot. Giving user a small amount like this is a self-driven process after it has been "coded", except for the moderation of spam. No double checking user accounts on bitcointalk, no checking twitter for replies, no checking to see if the wallet-address is used over and over for more coins.

For example; 0.05DTC per action = 1DTC per 20 actions. As time goes by and more users registers, the reward can be lowered until there is enough activity on the forum and the reward is 0 Smiley 0.05 might be too much, I am not experienced with how much traffic this could generate.

Figured it was about time to resubmit again.  

DTC_Tweets has had some really solid growth within the last few months, jumping from 20-80 followers throughout just the last few weeks.  We have some really cool plans to engage with the community even more, and we're hoping we'll be able to cross 200 by mid-to-late February.
