Hello there, Getting confused with OPC and OPCX. Can someone help??

There is a swap going on in their Discord at a 20:1 ratio.

I had an order that was super low on Cryptopia get filled for OPC, so decided to swap to OPCX. The swap went smooth and is very fast.

Not sure why they are doing the swap . . but the devs are sure to make some bank, so that's always good motivation   8)

As far as long term viability of the coin, it's too early to tell right now, It doesn't do anything special - a high ROI staking coin swapping to a high ROI MN coin.

I am willing to risk a bit for a potentially short term (2-3 months) reward.

Can somebody give me the correct info where and how to swap OPC > OPCX? I'm asking because I read about someone who did send his coins to some kind of shady Discord bot.

I have to give a shout out to the team! I am a total newbee when it comes to masternodes and the whole lingo. But as I followed the discord chat I got more confident that I would het support on my journey to setting up an OPCX masternode. And I was not disappointed the devs were there for me every step of the way. They were patient as they helped me fixed my mistakes and guided me along each step. Many hours of support let to me finally getting everything up and running!
So a big thank you to the team and newbees don't be shy, just give it a go. They got your back! Thanks guys !!

When starting my MN I am getting this if I try to start through the debug console

Not capable masternode: Could not connect to [2xxx:4xx:2xx:3dc8::31fc]:18051       HuhHuh?

The X's are numbers  Smiley

When I hit start missing button on the wallet it shows me it starts . . .

Says it successfully started, but never goes out of missing status to enabled status.

I used the MN installer https://raw.githubusercontent.com/opcoinx/OPCoinX_MN_Installer/master/opcxsetup_ubuntu1404.sh in the Discord but have made minor alterations to the .conf file on the VPS so it is similar to other MN coins.

I have since tried to do it like a typical PIVX MN and cannot get it to start . . any help would be appreciated.

try starting from debug console --> masternode start-all

it's not shady at all. i swaped most of my OPC to OPCX and the Discord bot worked really well and fast + the support guys were super helpful when i was trying to setup my masternode.

OPCX has partnered with nodesupply.com for those of you who have enough collateral for a masternode but cant set a masternode up or are running a full node through a 3rd party shared masternode

By this method you get to retain your private keys at all times in your wallet as they just set up the VPS and handle the technical side of things !

For those of you who haven't yet discovered OPCX, you're missing out! I am HIGHLY impressed with the newly released OPCX wallet and overall speed/quality of the network. The dev team has done something special here, can't wait until everyone else out there starts figuring this out. Great community + great dev team = great success

Absolutely loving the Masternode rewards at the moment. The team and dev seem really switched on and devoted to getting this project completed as quickly as possible to support the community. Admins on telegram and discord are always willing to help too.

This seems to be working well for those who struggled setting up masternode, over 20 so far who may not have been benefitting from high rewards right now

Can't wait to read the whitepaper. You guys know when it will be released? OPCX has been delisted from Stakinglab. It's a sign. So I thing it's time to release some things. We need more exposure, a better marketing campaign. It's the reason why the whitepaper is important here. Without it, we cannot promote the coin around us.

Whitepaper is nearly done, we are finishing up some nice graphics and making the format beautiful for everyone.

Our github is well documented with many notable changes for this release. Some quick notes before you update. As always we recommend creating a backup of you wallet.dat file and securing it on another device as well for redundancy. Close the current OPCX wallet and wait for it to fully close this may take several minutes. Download and run the current v2.0.0 build. If you have trouble syncing you may have to go in tools menu wallet repair and use the bottom button (delete local block chain folders) to force your wallet to resync. This will take several hours.  As always we recommend creating a backup of you wallet.dat file and securing it on another device as well for redundancy.
Masternode users. You will need to start securing transactions of 150000 OPCX per masternode BEFORE BLOCK 695000 Starting Friday September 13th we will begin spork enforcement and banning malicious actors to enforce the update. v1.0.0 will be inactivated at this time.
