Hello All,

I am excited to get my feet wet and finally get my hands on some Bitcoin.  About to make first purchase on Coinbase.  I plan on investing in some alt-coins as well to diversify.  Can anyone recommend the best way to maintain multiple crypto CCY wallets(is it safe to keep funds in a exchange wallet like crypsy).  I have heard about security issues with some of the more thinly traded CCY's, regarding trojans, viruses, etc when downloading the software on your CPU.

I had some success creating paper wallets offline for BTC and LTC by using a USB live CD, but I cant get the qt apps to run on it for some reason.

Any suggestions/advise for me to get started would be appreciated!
