Here are all the stock market animals:

Bear: Pessimist that thinks the market is in a general decline

Bull: Optimist that thinks the market is in an upward trend

Whale: Large investor using calculative strategy, risks large amounts of money

Shark: High risk investor that will spend a lot of money hoping for a high return in a short amount of time

Thanks for the detailed explanation CoinGeneral, although I did know Whale refers to someone who goes big, but now I know the exact difference between whale and a shark.

Looks like traders who coined these terms belonged to PETA or some other animal rights group, it's cute to have these names.  ;D

Look at babypips for lots of helpful information, it even teaches you how to do technical trading and many of these techniques can translate easily over to Bitcoin and altcoins.

http://www.babypips.com/school/undergraduate/junior-year/which-type-of-trader-are-you/each-trader-is-unique.html - There are not only different traders with different sentiments but different styles of trading too, I'm pretty much a swing trader :D if I choose to trade at all.

Bull: Optimist that thinks the market is in an upward trend

Why is the Bear heavier on the picture above, any reason ?

haha, yeah, baby bulls are more manageable.

its funny because i thought the animals had to do with how they fought and how the market was reacting.

bulls - they charge straight foward
 - so i thought that meant the market was expected to rise for the near future.

bears - have you ever seen a bear fight, shit gets crazy (wild slashing)
 - so i thought that meant the market is like... "Caution: bear fighting... shit be crazy, yo!"
