Title: This seems counter productive Post by: Prinzert on December 10, 2013, 03:57:10 PM I registered an account because I wanted to offer my services to the devs of a specific coin.
However, I can't send PM's or reply to that coin's thread without posting here for a while first. Doesn't this just encourage me spamming the newbie forum with useless posts until I'm allowed to do what I signed up for? Tried to submit this post and get: "The last posting from your IP was 360 seconds ago"... I checked the firewall for our 20 person office, and nobody else is on the bitcoin forum.... Also the guide recommends that you post your question here, chances are that you get an answer anyway.
