Announcing that my automotive repair shop is now accepting bitcoin payments! My shop has been open for 4 years and I specialize in Ford diesel repair, but do repairs on most other vehicles as well. If your ever in southern Manitoba and need some work done, give me a call.

It's a great decision! Some extra clients and no risks of chargebacks when receiving payments with bitcoins :)
Is yours the first automotive repair shop to accept Bitcoins?

I haven't heard of anyone else in the automotive industry accepting bitcoin yet. In this area, I don't really expect to get anyone wanting to pay in bitcoin yet, but I figured I could do my part to help spread awareness.

You might be right - but offering a discount is always a nice incentive for people to get to know more about Bitcoin :)
Just make sure offering a discount on a specific payment method does not go against the rules of your other payment methods (for example, if you take CCs, your bank might forbid that - I've seen contracts with that...).
