If you have that much faith in him, go for it :) AFAIK he's no longer looking for a loan; last week he told me he found someone to lend him 0.145, and only needed 0.015. I did not agree to lend him the initial amount of 0.16 BTC without proper collateral, and obviously his ID in itself wasn't going to suffice, but decided that 0.015 was low enough to prevent him from not repaying the loan considering the information I had on him (he also took a picture of himself with the ID, wouldn't be worth to have his online reputation tarnished over only 0.015 BTC). I wouldn't mind lending more, but then I would need something else as collateral.
