Title: Qhoster.com ripoff!
Post by: moriartybitcoin on December 10, 2013, 10:20:27 PM
WARNING: Qhoster.com Bitcoin Webhosting is a SCAM

I signed up for a VPS, paid $119 for three months, and the VPS was up for about 5 minutes and then down.  24hrs later, NO VPS, no refund, no response from customer support!

Don't use them!

qHoster is a great hosting company. I recommend them 101%. Quick helpful support with any issue you might have! Also accepts Bitcoin, Litecoin and a TON of other payment options.

Happy your issue was resolved.

I`m really disappointed for Qhoster services.
They reboot my VMs w/o any warning or notification.
Now my both VMs are suspended.

Your servers are IO aggressive and causing problems on our nodes. The only solution we can offer you is a dedicated server.
I start 5 or 6 coin daemons and P2pools on it. It have 1GB ram so I cant even run more.
It was working ok about 1.5 month.
Shame.
Prices are ok and we can pay bitcoins, but this is unacceptable.

Seems as if they like to suspend their servers for no reason, my second server just got cancelled for allegedly "spam". Don't really know what they want from me, I just paid the invoice last week and I don't even have a mailserver or anything like it running on there. Never ever reached close to my traffic limit (used max 1-2% of the provided traffic) or anything like that. Be very careful if you get a server here.

In fact, after over month they run my machines again.
Typical response to ticket is less than 1 day.
Sadly, they cant tell me when "I`m abusing hardware node" running few daemons.

i must say better DON'T USE QHOSTER.COM

i will use this topic to share my experience:

my account has been hacked, i removed the greetings from hackers groups, changed the cpanel account password and thought everything is over but after few weeks the mails from RSA started to come for couple of domains i run there. The hackers uploaded fishing websites deep in websites structure. I got instructions from RSA which files i need to remove, removed them and sent to RSA for investigation.

the qhoster suspended my account firstly, i asked them to start so i can clean the account from malicious files,  they activated it, i cleaned all reported domains. The account had been active cca 24 hours after that. Then i received message from qhoster that my account was suspended again with reason SCAM.

it's been a week already and i can't get into account and support is closing my tickets without reply, they are arrogant, i asked them for full backup of my account so i can move to another hosting but i got the reply ''We do not provide backup for stopped accounts'' - very nice. Since then they ignore me. I had cca 20 domains there and every day i'm losing profit and clients.

Should i take any legal actions against them for lost profit and for avoiding me from getting access to my websites (they don't allow me to backup)?

the support is very weak and arrogant and not helpful in any way

You simply need to set up your bank account to receive SEPA ( euro ) transfers from your wallet back to your bank account in the UK.

deposits are also very easy from your bank account or card all the bad reviews on here are from people who clearly cannot follow the instructions on how to set this up properly.

I was running Bitcoin core, bitcoin cash and ethereum wallet on a server purchased  from them. paying 300$ monthly.

Last week they closed my VPS, and stole my funds I had on the wallets. I made lots of tickets, tried to contact them on SKYPE, also by phone..
They don't answer and keep closing my tickets!

STAY AWAY FROM QHOSTER, THEY ARE SCAMMERS
