Title: Losing blockchain every time my laptop runs out of batteries Post by: chorchonga on December 10, 2013, 10:50:53 PM There has got to be a better way - every time my laptop runs out of batteries, I have to re-download the entire block chain which takes over a week. Using OSX and Bitcoin QT 0.8.5. Is there a different client that protects against this?

Although it should be saving as it goes.
