Title: erupter blade for dummies.... im a dummy
Post by: rffr on December 11, 2013, 10:16:25 AM
ok.  im getting a little frustrated.  im new to this bitcoin/computer stuff but im a fast learner.  i just need somebody to point me in the right direction.

i have a V2 erupter blade hooked up to the powersupply and im looking at the configuration page on my laptop.  i have the IP changed to 192.168.1.201 like i have seen suggested.

i cant figure out what to do with the rest of the stuff.

im trying to connect to Slush's pool and i downloaded the stratum and got that running... i think.

all of this is being done via a laptop  and wireless router... maybe thats my problem

can someone help me out in "layman's terms"?

ok. no more fucking with wireless connections. i went and bought a 5port switch and now i have my laptop that is running the stratum, the blade, and internet connection all running into the switch.

the stratum is running but my blade keeps resetting every 2 1/2 min.  it never connects to the pool.

my configuration is as follows:

IP : 192.168.1.201
Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.1.1
WEB Port : 8000
Primary DNS : 192.168.1.1
Secondary DNS : 211.148.192.141
Ports : 8332, 8332
Server addresses : 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.100
user:pass : rffr.worker1:xxxx, rffr.worker1:xxxx

Any your server address is the ip address of your laptop?

When going to the config page don't forget to add :8000 to the end. As that is the open port. e.g. 192.168.1.100:8000
