Title: Bubble or new paradigm (exclusive to the 4 digit bitcoiners)
Post by: adpinbr on December 11, 2013, 04:35:21 PM
I dont know it seems like we may be in bubble territory, I am a young guy and didnt get to see the dot com and housing bubbles. When I got into bitcoin I knew it would go up regardless of its success because it had the fundamentals to be the worlds biggest bubble. Now, I am trying to understand is if this is a bubble or not (I believe in crypto but i do not know if/when/which one and the hurdles ,like government intervention that could kill price for a few years, we have to overcome for it to work). If this is a bubble is now the time to get out or has it just begun?

Only for 1000+ BTC ? This is discrimination!  :)

I voted with my few Bitcoins anyway because I value these as much as someone else his 1000+ BTC  :P

Ah, a clever way to find out who has more than 1000 BTC...

To answer your question, read and decide for yourself.  Most 1000 BTC holders are beginning a slow cash-out process while those of us with less will start that process later.

And most of us do not believe that bitcoin (or at least the idea of a distributed cryptocurrency) will pop long-term.

Could you please explain one thing to me. As you know that most 1000 btc holder are beginning a slow cash out process, why would you start the process later ? Once they are done the price will be significantly lower....

Even if you donīt believe that it will not pop in the long term, why would you want to see your profits going down by 50% or more percent in the short term ? Afraid to miss the train ? You could miss the train going into the other direction as well.

No one ever went broke by taking profits
