In the past, not once has BFL and its suppliers been able to accomplish any of the tasks listed above in a week.

My opinion, based on past performance is expect day 1 orders in March.

Other than the people who were stuck in preorder hell from the first generation who in their right mind would have ordered a monarch?!?

I hope KNCs 20nm chip is in hand before the BFL 28nm sees the light.

At this rate I'd say KNC has a good shot even if they dont make Q1

Depends on how deep the queue depth is... KNC & Cointerra are selling out devices that won't ship till April or May as we speak, in the $3-4/GH range. Hardware that ships in March at $6-8/GH could still be profitable.. perhaps.

What happened to the original timeline that they removed. Did they somehow magically find a way to cut nearly 3 months off that plan? Or are they just doing creative timeline management again? Or because they were supposed to deliver what was it again? August tape out and December delivery? Amazing how 4 months disappears.

15 weeks total from tape out or nearly 4 months. Let us be generous and say they have completed tape out. No proof or statement yet to that effect.

BFL, always consistent with delays and doublespeak.

Rich customers going poor? At this point anyone who ordered the Monarch deserves the delay.

Are they going to roll the first batch from November into the February/March batch? Or did February and March also get pushed back into infinity and beyond?

Come on guys....give em a break....BFL said they learned a lesson or two from the last generations they screwed up  :D
