2 months? How come you joined on Date Registered: August 25, 2017, 12:17:19 AM

Step 1: Don't beg for merits

More on how to earn merits? You can read and follow this little guide

- TMAN'S guide to getting merit. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3182178.0)
- This infographics might help too   (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3182178.msg35822713#msg35822713)

* Improve your English language, this isnt just spelling and grammar this includes using words like Sir & Mr when I see those I imediately asume the person is a 3rd world poster
* Spend the time that you currently use posting incoherent rubbish to learn proper Written English, start with youtube there has to be over 3002 different videos about writing the English Language
* Read a few English books, you can download free Ebooks as a starter, look how sentences are structured common words etc.
* Remember a quality post isnt necessarily a long winded post, using words that make you sound like you swallowed a thesauras doesnt help your cause

Sorry i think you're just lazy to read, there are so much topics that discussed about this, better you read it so you don't need to make topic like this anymore. And also Mr. Theymos already gave the detail about the rules clearly.

My suggestion for you are (it applies to other too) :
1. Learn about crypto
2. Make a quality post with your unique style
3. Roam over the board that you have interest and knowledge.
4. Do not beg for merit.
It is general suggestion tho, but reminding and applying these suggestion will surely increase your chance to get merits.

How to get merit?
Make your sentences meaning or your paragraph.
Making a good quality posts will make you get merit. Don't hope for merits they will come if your posts deserves it.
I have one consolidated answers for the questions about merit.

I think the merit stuff is good to improve the posts on this forum instead of spamming, but it's just that it's kinda hard to get because some members who have the ability to give are abusing it by selling

Creating a new thread regarding merit, You have shown that you are not reading the other post on this forum and you are not serious on this forum. Try to read the article basically in meta section, you know everything about the merit and other rules of the merit.

it helps to have a sense of humor and a good grasp of the English language.
Hate to say it, but humor and wit tend to get ignored on bitcointalk, since the majority of members here can barely write English, don't read anything, and would miss the subtleties of language even if they did read, including and especially humor.  You can try it, but don't be surprised when no one responds to your post or merits it.

OP is just effing lazy.  I would suggest he browse the first 3 pages of Meta, and he'll find multiple threads asking this very question.  Not that there's a big secret to earning merit anyway.  All the answers you'll ever read about this say the same thing:  Post stuff that people like to read.  You'll often read it as the variant "Post a quality post" or something like that, because members who have zero merit learned how to write it.

I'll try to tell you, based on my experience
1. First you need to understand what it is and how it works. Learn in this topic - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0
2. Then read these two posts from two good person TMAN and theyoungmillionaire
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3376729.msg35411537#msg35411537
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3182178.0
3. I'll come up with an idea for my post, it should not be a copyright of someone else's article.
4. Go to the realization with the mind, insert a pinch of humor and other trifles into the subject, it discharges while reading the cognitive article!
5. Do not be afraid to begin. It's never too late to start learning English to write topics, overcome yourself and then everything will be fine

You're writing posts and making threads but they're not contributing to the forums growth. Merits are gifted when a post impacts on the forum but when your posts is not addressing an issue as regards the forum growth or answering questions in the forum, you can't get merit.

There have been lots of users who gave you links to helpful topics on how to earn merits via improving your post quality; and specific tutorials to reach those purposes.
Hence, I have only one warning message for you:
Never fall into merit bussiness, which has been abundant in local boards, including Russian. You should stay away from this sort of bussiness because your account might be under high risks of red tags, bans, etc.

You don't 'earn' merits, and crapping all over the forum with shitty posts just to earn merits will just piss off people.

What does ' in the bounty is a completely new person' mean, and who is this new person in the bounty - is it Fletcher Christian or William Bligh?

Lol...Funny you in the contrary sense  ???

This isn't a Russian thing. It is almost a general epidemic now in the forum. It's like people forget to dispense this merit anymore. Those who even remember hardly give out more than 1merit per post.

Suggestion to the OP, they can make it an advice if they wish for that's what it is:
OP, just write your posts like there isn't a prize to be won and you would be alright. Just make them constructive to inform and teach others and the Merit may come in.

I'm working on the forum for about 2 months

Working isn't the best way to describe your time spent here. No one's forcing you to be here or do you have to. Be here for yourself.

I'm trying to write posts I'm creating topics and I only have 1 merit

Try to find a user with a higher amount of merit and compare your posts to theirs, you'll see the difference.

I'm Russian and in our thread of the forum people are greedy and merit is not distributed at all

hm, when I was looking at merit stats before, a good percent of posts and topics were russian (and turkish).

Here's an advice: don't write posts and start topics just for the sake of getting merit. Write posts as you're talking to your close friend and pay a little more attention to grammar, at least with ",". I assume that the grammar rules are similar if not the same at most (my grammar isn't perfect as well, far from it, but I'm trying to improve).

You have two posts, first one is exactly the same but the very end. Why? Merge those two posts and quote properly.

Btw you might want to take the advice you've given in your 2nd post.

There are million of news about crypto, there are million of scenes happening day by day and there are many issues about btc/altcoins. All of these can made you a topic that is very unique like myself. Maybe you should focus on gathering some interesting topics that will enlighten and bring us to heaven. Create a topic that will separate my soul to my body. Maybe i'll give you a merit with that lodiness..  ;)

don't lose hope, if have a lot of knowledge about crypto then it will bring you up to heaven too.. let's party there. 8)

Not trying to belittle you, but what work are you doing exactly? Perhaps you mean surfing this forum. I have already told other people like you on how to get merit points. Give up your laziness, do some efforts and look through these threads on the meta section. You will find many useful things. Also, try not to post these kind of threads because they are annoying. I cannot believe it is May and people are still talking about the merit system.

Write more than a line or two and make sure it's coherent and makes sense. I seem to have got all of my merit on posts that I have written several paragraphs. Write some posts that actually take some time and knowledge and users will probably give it to you but short sentances will likely just get lost with all the others.

For starters, since he is still a low-ranking member, it may be better if he will post for the sake of merit in mind. That way he will exert more effort and thought in his posts and dozens of those will make him get used to it and he can post whatever he wants without thinking for the sake of merit but the quality of posts will still be there since he got used in posting that way.

I gave you 2Merits and I think there are some people that are giving free merits to good posts or I don't know I didin't do anything special and yet I had received some merits and now I give them on someone else because I think this is the fairest thing I can do right now ...helping out others.

Believe me Merit earning is not so tough. It is all about quality post.
Though I still have no merit. But I am not worried a bit. As a newbie, I have checked the merited post and found that quality posts are really awarded merit by mods.

So my suggestion to you, keep trying to contribute with quality content. Merit will come to your door. :)
