Title: chase account closed
Post by: stex2009 on December 12, 2013, 08:33:04 PM
My chase account was closed because it falls under high risk category. They are not ready to give any more info at all. Any other users experienced the same? I did not move a lot of cash in this account, but was still closed. I have only accepted one CQP for selling, and that too only $125 amount. Can that be the reason?

What other banks would you recommend? Any suggestions.

Consider yourself blessed, and go with a credit union.

Sorry to hear about Chase closing your account for bitcoin transactions. If the issuer closes the account, that will remain in chexsystems record (Checking account history record) and it may play negative for you when you want to open an account in another major bank. If I was in your situation, I would visit a local Chase bank and try my best to retain the account from closing. If Chase closes one account it would not let you to get any of their credit cards as well. Also Chase has got the best reward credit cards.

I don't think that's true. You are only -ve for this particular bank, and this doesn't go into your credit history at all.
For credit cards, there are better rewards cards available, like discover/us bank, and it depends what you are looking for.
