Title: Vote for Bitcoin IRA at Fidelity at finance.yahoo.com
Post by: I_bitcoin on December 12, 2013, 10:02:47 PM

Should work but I suggest looking for "bitcoin fund raises" then looking to the right and taking the poll.  I suggest doing the search instead of using the link as you can see that the link has some unique identifiers in it.

Thanks to the speculation forum user "wachtwoord"  for finding this and raising it!

So instead of waiting for the real results and find out what people really think , we should all start using tor and vote in a poll so we can be sure of the results.
Doesn't look like a good idea to me.

this poll is not scientific.   In fact, it is a measure of our passion if we don't go in and vote for it.   Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Very little of what's on Yahoo finance is scientific.

I voted.

I'm not sure that any campaign will work if the company is set on not accepting Bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195299.0

This is true.  That said, you have to try and there are certainly times when the data does speak.  In this case it is not just fidelity it is also all of those eyeballs looking at that chart.   We want those eyeballs to think (wow, this is something real).

Edit, adding the new poll results...   Nice progress!

What did you expect on a vote where you got an immense influx of multiple accounts using Tor?

Personally I think the lower the yes vote the better.

The MSM keeps trying to sell the idea that Bitcoin is a bubble, that the market is just getting over-excited about it.
But if the market perception even on 'Yahoo finance' is that 90%+ think it's 'just a fad' or 'way to volatile' then that's the literal opposite of the market getting over excited/bubble.

Wow @ the poll.... 2 of the choices are completely anti-bitcoin, only 12% of people are positive about bitcoins...  :-*

Well the poll is pretty dubious. Like the answer for 'would you invest in Bitcoins?' should just be
'Yes' or
'Yes, it could have potential' not
'Yes, IT'S THE FUTURE'

They don't have an option where the average viewer can be positive about bitcoin without being evangelical.

Poll seems to be gone now.  Replaced with another?

Stupid that they have two anti-bitcoin options and 1 pro-bitcoin option.

Humans are sheep.  Having two negative speaking options pushes people in a certain direction.  Obviously.
