Except for the top 100 on coinmarketcap.com, what are your 5 favorite coins?

and i think VSX is good enough too, and this is my favourite coin outside the TOP 100

yeah i like SONM a lot too.  few of my other faves atm are XSN, FOTA and SPHTX

My hidden gem is Modum and Block Array ($MOD/$ARY), these two are supply chain project almost same as WTC/VEN but still under rader with great growth opportunities.
Modum recently made a partnership with 5Bil company to aid their supply chains with blockchain tech.

Sonm also is a good one but there's also some other good coins like byteball bytes.

I also came to say sonm  :) in terms of potential, the best coin out of top 100 is sonm to me as well. Its team and recognition of project in the industry is very well, soon it will be in top 100.

Love the ones with a low ts/ms

Oyster, Credits, Universa, Tio, Polymath. Speaking about Tio it is trading below ICO price and still super undervaluated. They are about to launch liquidity pool and this should push price. Universa just launched mainnet and their price doesn't correlate with ETH price, just look at charts. As well as Credits, this blockchain infrastructure project can easily make 10x this year

I can easily say Salt, they are in 103rd place right now. 3.15 USD is current price and 17.68 USD was ATH price. It gives us a big place to go up again. Once new rally starts Salt will shine in lending platforms. Current volume is also decent. There is a support from market.

ETH, 0X , ICON , Whanchain , Vechain , Aion and chainlink  .  After Tezos and yggdrash .

I like Tio (Trade token) myself. It's way undervalued but will see a price rise real soon with the updates that are coming.

FGC - formally DFScoin now a masternode coin with low supply.
DIM - HYBSE due out in June. Hybrid exchange

My favorite would be QRL (Quantum Resistant Ledger).

I think that the idea of future proof cryptocurrencies will be more and more cherished in the near future, and QRL definitely presents an interesting solution. If they are able to add more functionality like smart contracts etc., launch their project within a short period of time and potentially even rebranding their entire project's name, then I see a lot of potential.

Runner up would be Factom. No idea why it's even out of the top 100 now as it used to be extremely popular.

From the list contributed here, I'll pick SOMN, Universa, and Elixir as my top performers outside the top 100. Universa's mainnet launch and upcoming partnership announcements are sure to kick the coin into overdrive. SOMN is at consensus and will be delivering a keynote speech on the future of mining through IoT.
Aside these three, I'm heavily into NLX due to it upcoming hardfork into a Null protocol and Zerocoin integration for the world's first privacy ecosystem and another privacy coin, Stash, will be releasing its mainnet in Q3.

I invested very early into these coins because I think they will have a great prices pump this year!

I'm not interested in very coins from below the top 100 but from your list ELIXIR and SHIFT are very good. I have read a little about them and they look very promising

This choice seems to be something that is very interesting. I will monitor these coins today and tomorrow. As for me, I bet on these alts: Nexus and SONM.

My coins: xsn, sonm, elix, and oax. One of the reasons why I hold them is that I think they don't worth to stay out of top 100, so when they get attention I will make lots of money.

In particular i do not cling much to the classifications of the coins and just to give an example look the position of the doge, nothing against doge but exist there are coins higher and best. Regarding the question the attractive coins below the top 100 are: Minexcoin, Viacoin, Burst, Counterparty, Ubiq, Zencash, Dragonchain. Remembering that is my opinion.

This is a tough one, I am still very bullish on Banyan network, I don't think it has got its time to shine yet.

I have 5 for you but they're all ICOs, if you're into that.

I really dont know, I tried taking positions outside the top 100 to my dismay, way too risky, most wont be around in a few months let alone a few years. my advice stick to real projects in the top 20

That's the Abyss coin, you see they are always growing while the market is falling down, they go against the trend of the market, showing the extremely coin potential.

One of my favorites is Fortuna.

It's been holding up well compared to other altcoins in this bear market.

Also partnered with Neo, Qtum, Loopring

In my opinion, I chose only ABYSS and VIT coin, the two coin has a high potential and I choose ABYSS first. I see this coin is going upstream of the market at a time of deepening prices

They all have great potential. Interesting coins, all are lower prices than ICO prices and they still dont listed in big exchanges. After the list in big exchanges like kucoin or binance, we will see higher prices :)

MAN is my favorite. Currently, 135th in the market.

I don't usually trust coins that are not in top-30 or so, but there are some I think are pretty nice, even though not in the top-100. I once invested in Blackmoon crypto, a project for mass adoption and collaboration with institutions to make the former happen. I would also like to mention a mobile gambling project called Electroneum, which has a great idea as well as a decent British team, but it currently at its all-time low price. Iconomi also used to be quite successful but is now pushed down by the bleeding market. I don't think I can name any more worthy coins, but there are nice ICOs going around. I am particularly interested in a VR online gambling ICO called Alive Casino.

I have the same interests and see the promise of ELIX. The rest are BIX, DCC, STorm (STORM) and Kickcoin (KICK). With BIX, I have a little advantage in trading. (1 get 1 when open on Huobi) :)

My favorite coin outside of 100 is Te-Food. Project in the area where the blockchain is really needed. Project that regularly enters in new strong partnerships.

Deeponion is a privacy coin to watch out for it has very low total supply and it will easily reach $50 -$100 in the next bull run . I’m a fan of privacy coins right now there’s an amazing project with a huge community supporting it and it has been making huge  advancements and it’s called PRiVCY  check it out in coinmarketcap just got added and it’s very cheap at the moment

I really like IOC they have been working in the project for 3 years. Low market cap ($40 mil.), low supply (16.5 mil.), and low cost (under $3/coin) so is easy to stack a lot of coins and forget about it for a while. They were delisted from Poloniex for lack of volume, but this is due to over 50% of the holders are staking the coin in wallets. Since the DIONS release, they shifted to focus on marketing and the Chameleon project. "Chameleon will create interoperability between Blockchains and applications. Facilitating governance & smart contracts with a hybrid Blockchain solution." and to top it all. NO ICO, NO premiere!.

Crypterium - Even when the market is very bad, it has not fallen much in USD.

My favourite altcoins that are out of top 100 are BABB (BAX), Cardstack (CARD) and Shivom (OMX). Also I can add XYO and DOCK.

Definitely PCL! Savings platform for the brighter future of massive employees and middle class! Also, BTX, DIVX, PRL, BDG, LEND and a whole lot to mention. lol
