So far I have found two that work, both of which gave poor results and appeared to either be somehow broken or skimming.

https://www.miningpool.co/dashboard/
gave about 40-50% of the estimated return
I read somewhere that grandcoins get a lot of rejected shares and stales and that the current difficulty is misleading which leads to inflated mining estimates. This might be enough to account for the lower than expected returns of this pool but NOT the next one which is just BS.

http://grand.cryptcoins.net/
gave about 10% of estimated return... avoid this one in particular.

I have not yet found a good pool and I don't know how to set up solo mining on my ubuntu machine.

please let me know if you find a working pool that isn't either broke or stealing.

Currently testing:
http://gdc.nordicminers.eu/
(after looking at their history of found blocks I quit testing, the pool is only finding one block every few hours).
