I hear more and more statements about the further growth of the course of the Ethereum. Somebody say that the rate will reach $ 2500 by the end of

2018 year, others - $ 2000.

I wrote some news where famous person predict rate of ETH, such as:

- Co-Founder of Reddit Alexis Ohanyan predicts that the price of Ethereum will reach $ 15,000 this year;

- Founder and CEO of DeVere Nigel Green predicts - 2500$

Will Ethereum able to replicate Bitcoin's growth by the analogy of last year?

Market is very very unpredictable. Ups and Downs of it is very sudden. And this Ups and Downs of ETH also causing it to slow down its growth but making the traders rich.

I personally rhink that Ethereum will grow rapidly this year may be in the second prt of this year but i do not think that $15k per eth can be reached this year, realistic number can be around $2-$3k range.

I think it is too soon for ETH to reach the speculated price, after all it only got some good erc20 tokens and some shitty ICO erc20 tokens going for it, which doesn't really have real world use aside from speculation. IMO it needs more tokens with real world use cases in order for it to reach 2500$.

it is just a prediction, not necessarily a reality.
in my personal opinion it is possible the price reached $ 2500. because I saw from historical prices last year

Ethereum cap is 1/2 from Bitcoin cap. We know that Ethereum is a young crypto if we compare it with Bitcoin or Litecoin right? But the price of ethereum is rapidly grown up, very significant. Ethereum able to grab the top position and get rid of Litecoin and other altcoins. The innovation ethereum brought is indeed great until now we can see The ICOs is so cancer. And I believe that price will positive (that mean Appreciation of rate Ethereum)

Ethereum had a chance to replicate the growth of Bitcoin.

But in reality; business wise, Eth cannot replicate bitcoins growth as of last year,
but etherum can soar higher probably closer to 5000$ while bitcoin soars towards 80000$

I think Ethereum will reach $ 2,000 this year. but the market is not predictable.

Actually, the Co-Founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanyan predicted that Ethereum will reach 1500$ by the end of year. Indeed he first said 15.000$, but then he said it was a typo and he edited to 1500$. My prediction is similar, i think it will get around 1500$-2000$ per 1 ETH by the end of the year.

This year, ETH will grow in any case. But it is unlikely that he will be able to revive such rapid growth as in bitcoin. ETH will reach very a high price, but not this year.

Rise in price to $2000 is not so difficult. To come out on top in terms of capitalization will be much harder. Well, if that happens ETH will fly even higher I'm sure. Vitalik it's your turn!  8)

Bitcoin is truly unpredictable as well as Ethereum. Those are all just predictions which are also based on those statements from well know personalities. It is not impossible for ETH to reach above $2,000 by the end of the year but $15,000 looks very impossible before the year ends. As long as the regulators were unable to get rid of the market manipulators, we will still live in vague predictions.

The second part of this year is expected to be bullish as the first first six months we have seen correction and bears dominating the market, if we see the market movement as cycles and waves then we can definitely expect a bigger wave up from now onwards so expect Eth price to grow as well, but how much the price can grow is hard to tell.

Very interesting news for me, I am a trader of ethereum and other altcoin, I really hope ethereum price as predicted by economists, in business, a lot of benefits we get in terms of profit.

I consider ETH price as 2000-3000 $ is real till the end of the 2018. And even $4-5K is probable.

Total will depend on the entire market and the situation on the exchanges, now there is no good trade for the coins to start growing on the moon

I agree! ETH will increase in value because of the tremendous potential of technology, market, community backing ... This year the value of ETH will increase but the $ 1500- $ 2000 per ETH will not be of this year. By the end of the year, the $ 1000 figure is certain.

ETH has great potential.Until end of year ETH prices and rate will increase.Everyone expect that , lets see whats gonna happen.

We need to wait an alt season to see ETH prices go back to Dec valuation. In April we had some money entering the market but BTC gained his share in the market (ETH dropped a little bit more). We need patience...

We can see that the ethereum price indicators are completely dependent on the bitcoin rate. As soon as the price of bitcoin rises or falls slightly, ethereum repeats its price movements. When bitcoin recently rose in price already under $ 10,000, the ethereum rate reached $ 800. Now, according to CoinMarketCap, the bitcoin rate is 8571 dollars, ethereum - 694 dollars.

Unfortunately, even when listening to all the optimists, it is very easy to understand that he will not have the same growth as bitcoin in 17 year. While he needs to overcome the mark in 1k, and the year as for me should end at the level of 1.5k and this is the maximum that can be squeezed. Even though many are already investing in alts and not bitcoins.

I think everything is ready for Ethereum. Now everyone is waiting for that big bang. Now it's getting clearer that Ethereum's investor will win. But still Bitcoin dominance is in a high state, and for this reason the expected output is not easy to do. However, if you look at the recent charts, you will see a very smooth and steady rise. For me, a coin that will accelerate in the first level is no longer Ethereum and it should not be forgotten that everyone learns the first Etherum after Bitcoin.

Yeah. Market is unpredictable. Some say it is manipulated by some powerful people to increase their profit.

Now ethereum slowly down their price for this week, I'm sure it will rise again to the price status before, but it is hard to say that this year ethereum price reach up to $2,000, well if that happen that it will reach up to $2,000 more and more people will enjoy their life as earning multiple income because of the price status. Hopefully it will happen soon that price of ethereum reach up to $2,000 so that all people will enjoy.

The market is now really unpredictable. Everyone is waiting for the increase in the price of the Etherium. It is difficult to say whether it is worth buying an Etherium today or there will be a decline in value again.

I think it can definitely happen. I would sure be very happy if Ethereum reached even 1500$ this year, in that case I will already have 100% profit and feel incredible about my investment. If it goes even higher I don`t even how I will react.

According to my assumptions, the Ethereum course at the end of 2018 will be about $ 2,000. More than this value will not have time to grow, since most likely the main period of price growth will be in autumn.

So many famous personalities have given a lot of predictions, yet most do not happen as said. That someone says the price of eth will reach $2500 is just a mere prediction, because market will be the one to determine the price.
