So the president of paypal owns bitcoins, as he should.
Do you think paypal will ever come to support bitcoin and bitcoin wallets?

If so, bitcoin will be on the rise again :)

I think they'd be foolish not to. Maybe they don't have to accept them as payment first, but they/ebay should set up a marketplace/escrow so you can purchase them. They'd make a killing in fees. One of the drawbacks of BTC for people is actually getting a hold of coins and the tiresome faff of having to deal with exchanges. I got my first coins off ebay with PP because I liked the convenience and ease of the process and I'm sure the general public would like to get them this way too.

You're right, I'll bet that they'll join for the sole purpose to try to control bitcoin... :/
That's just my opinion :P

PayPal would make nice profits if PayPal sells Bitcoins directly.
I guess they looking into how to eliminate the risks associated

Yes, they will offer Bitcoins sometime in the future.  Not sure how long, but it looks like that once there is some stability in the price might cause more adoption down the road.

This will probably boost the bitcoin price even higher :)

The interesting thing is that the people at the top of companies usually are pretty smart - but the drones working in all the low end jobs usually are not. And I guess that's why Paypal gets such a bad reputation as well.

Marcus sees BTC as an alternative to NFC and therefore PayPal and that's right because nobody really need to be at a place in a store to make a payment to be honest.

They will eventually as long as Bitcoin keeps growing. You only have to look at the demand and prices coins on ebay go for to realise there's massive amounts of money to be made from this.

They are gonna have to find a way to coopt crypto currencies in their business model

Otherwise paypal and their likes are toast

Hopefully this will happen, or Paypal adapts / changes its ways, but we don't need Paypal any more.
