Post by: lakzo on December 14, 2013, 09:48:54 PM

SilkRoad v2 is a completely different site, and obviously different owner  ;)

Probably run by the feds .....

But yeah, bitcoin and paypal just don't mix. its a very simple rule.

Silk Road isn't bad for Bitcoin. BTC probably wouldn't be where it is right now if it wasn't for all the free advertising it got off the back of it. And Silk Road 2.0 has been up and running for over a month now.

I agree Silk Road hasn't been had for bitcoin. But please don't confuse Silk Road with Silk Road 2. They just stole the name. its probably run      by the feds  :-X

What makes you say that. Why would they go to the trouble of setting up another website when they could've just kept operating /watching the old one? Plus, it would be entrapment to create a site like SR.

Because they busted the old one, arrested the owner and stole all the coins. Keep up with the news :)

As for entrapment, US agencies make up plenty of fake websites - honeypots galore.
