Title: Butterfly labs 50Ghs with Bitminter Errors Post by: wreckish on December 16, 2013, 10:28:22 PM Hi, I received a 50Ghs BFL three days ago. It has been running 24h/day on bitminter with the java-clientday with roughly 0.5-1% rejected. Which is a fair deal for me, absolutely okay.
But when I look at the logg-window it certainly doesn't look fun :) I removed the stock fans and the housing and added noctua fans and a big 140mm blowing straight on the heatsinks, it runs on 82C straigt, and my friend received a machine just like this one the same day and he has the same temp on the stock fans so this shouldn't be the problem, I've heard the machine shouldn't be throttling before 86C. My internet connection is a very stable 200Mbit fibre with a no-problem modem. While mining this I'm also GPU-mining and I get none of the errors above at the same. I don't know why. I do get some mining done, but I haven't fooled with BitMinter much. Do you like BitMinter?
