Title: Problems with MSI R9 290 Cards Post by: bazzip on December 16, 2013, 10:33:09 PM Hello,
I have built 4 miners with MSI 7950s and have been running them for a few months now. I just bought some R9 290s and would like to get them going. I tried this config file with just one card and it was no luck. I am also trying to put these cards on a new miner with a fresh load of windows. No other miner has ever been used on this so its not a driver conflict issue with a previous card. http://holynerdvana.blogspot.com/2013/11/litecoin-mining-with-r9-290-and-r9-290x.html cgminer starts but says OFF where its supposed to have how fast the card is running. I installed the driver thats on the disk it came with because since its a relatively new card, I figured that would be fine. It recognizes it as an R9 290 in the device mgr. Ive only tried it with one card and I have a monitor plugged into it so its not a dummy card issue. The PS Im using is a 1250 watt PS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
