hi i made a mistake and inputed my local ip address. then i changed it into external ip address in masternode.conf. but it is still displaying as my internal ip address in masternode. what should i do? do i restart everything or leave it as it is. masternode debug says its running fine

At this price the nodes will shoot up quick. Increase the coins needed for the master-nodes to stabilize the coin project.

Dr. BamBam is moderator in the BitMoney discord. BitMoney announced in December 2018 a wallet update, because they had a reward about 1300 BIT. Yes correct, one reward 1,300 BIT. The update was so long time announced, but nothing was done. Only promises... and many many people in the community was angry. Rightly. During this time started the story. For the BitMoney moderators was this too much, they banned a lot of people, every hour, every day.... many many investors and community members. Ok. Once the wallet was done, people ask "What next?". With rights, this people are the investors in this coin. The moderators had no answer of this questions and the reaction was really ugly... also what next? YES. We will ban this stupid and ugly investors. People from BIT came to me(!) and ask about help... But I can't do nothing... Look now in the BIT discord... the bot is writing every hour and begs for BTC... the moderators and maybe 3 till 5 people hold the communication... It's the price when you are going this way. And the end? A few people are in GOSSIP and and in the BIT discord. People are not blind... THIS people ask ME to ban this Dr. BamBam account, because this behaviour in this discord server was really ugly. I checked this myself... And it was the truth. Very bad way to deal with the own investors. Now Dr. BamBam is crying, because he is banned from GOSSIP and so sad... hmm... Your problem. Think about what you did!!!

We updated our wallet to the version 2.1.0. This update is mandatory, you must update your Windows and Linux wallet's inclusive your masternodes. The version 2.0.0 will only work till block 99,999! the last time it was a bit quieter here, but we have thought about how we can grow and move forward. As some of you know, we are in closer contact with different projects and talk about common difficulties and problems. So also with the team from the GOSSIP coin. After lengthy discussions, the VENOX team decided to join the GOSSIP project and merge. In both projects there are good and energetic members and therefore we consider a merge as a strengthening in order to reach common goals with higher speed. Furthermore, the GOSSIP network is running very stable with more than 1000 masternodes. It means we have a good and stable community here.
The GOSSIP project is KYD verified (<https://review.kydcoin.io/gossip/>) and the head the projectes is also visible here.

What is our plan?

As already indicated, we want to put the VENOX and GOSSIP community together. Since the GOSSIP chain carried out a big update at the end of March 2019, it is more efficient to merge VNX into GOSS. The chain parameters are very good and we have no reason to change them. We want to swap VNX to GOSS with a 1:1 ratio. The circulaing supply from VENOX is now around 6.35M VNX, the circulating supply of GOSSIP is now around 15M GOSS.  With the VENOX merge the circulating supply will be around 21M GOSS.

How it will work?

The swap date is defined on the weekend from 31th Mai 2019 15:00 GMT +0 till 2nd June 2019 20:00 GMT +0. We will use the GOSSIP swap platform and everyone will swap the VNX coins to GOSS coins himself. This is a very easy process and done in a few minutes. Create an account, transfer VNX, press the swap button and withdraw the GOSS to your wallet.
When you‘re staking VNX, so it’s important to switch of the PoS, in other case your coins are locked and you are not able to transfer them.
We want to give every VNX holder the chance to swap, even if he may be sick or unable to attend the appointment for other reasons. So it will be possible to perform a manual swap. Manually we will exchange VNX coins were until 31.5.2019 15:00 GMT +0 generated.
On 31th Mai 2019 VENOX will be delisted on Crypto Bridge!!! Make all your deals on Crypto Bridge before and transfer your coins BEFORE from the CB to your local wallet or the swap platform!

Full agree that shared masternodes are not the way to go. A coin owner should always have the control of the private key of his coins.

I can see that you are continuously providing progress of your project. However, is there any marketing strategy that you are planning of to increase the value of your coin in exchanges? The buy order at crex for example is about 13 sat. Though you are more active than most of the coins listed there valued at less than 1 sat, yet, I believe you need to step up and be ahead of the game.

Thanks and I'm 100% your opinion. Our strategy is to bring a few things 100% done to have a standing and not only empty words with a "coming soon". I know that our volume is very very low... When we have our main tasks done, we will start with more advertising. I don't want to promote our project and things are done to 20%. Now I'm eating grass and work hard, after that the promo.

Groundbreaking or not...  :) In all cases it will be a nice overview of our project... we have done many many things, so we must not write story what for cool things we will do in future, because we did a lot of in the past. Telos now uses port 8051 with the wallet update to version 2.0

GOSSIP changed the port in the GOSSIP 2.0 update in March 2019. To use the tcp port 8051 is uncool, because it's used from Apple's iTunes streams. There are some rules in the internet for tcp ports. IANA can help... but now it's too late again...  ;)

Dear GOSSIP community,

there hasn't been a real announcement for a long time. But in the meantime I have a lot to report, so this announcement could be a bit bigger.
As you have noticed, I haven't worked actively in the project for some time and took some time off. From now on it was a very good decision, now I have collected new energy and new ideas. I would like to thank you for your loyalty, we currently have 520 master nodes, which is not a bad number.

Due to the Corona crisis I have been sitting in my home office for 5 weeks now and felt the urge to do a wallet update. The update turned out to be a bit bigger than I thought, but I am very happy about the new features and the stability. In version 2.2.0 I made a small bug, but I was able to fix it in less than 24 hours.

The wallet update was the actual trigger for the new concept which I now want to implement. I have looked at a lot of projects and code and found that the (few) projects that are still active haven't done wallet updates for a long time and if they have updated "anything" these updates are just ridiculous and useless. Of course there are also some projects that do really good work, but if you look behind the facade, it often looks horrible. But that's exactly what the "normal" user doesn't see, because a blockchain project is not easy to understand for the layman and he concentrates on the outside. A very good (or bad) example is the Northern (NORT) coin, it makes you laugh when you look at what happens in the wallet code. Details will be given later.

The main reason for this unfortunate situation of most projects is that they don't have a developer and are not able to compile a wallet and make any changes in the source code. These projects have absolutely no financial resources and so it is as it is. Nothing happens or in such a bad quality that you can only laugh (if you know about it). Programmers cost money and not little.
So what could be more obvious than to create a platform that analyses the projects technically. Blockchain is pure software development. If there are problems here, the whole project is useless. So I had the idea to create a platform to analyze and evaluate masternode projects technically. Volume and price don't interest me, there are already enough other platforms that can evaluate projects according to these parameters.

This "new" way of looking at things will give you a completely different impression of the projects and everyone can understand what is really happening in the background.

The new "Masternode Quality Check" will be integrated into the GOSSIP website. For this I will rebuild the site in the near future and integrate new features. The webhosting of gossipcoin.net will be upgraded to a more powerful package, so there will be no loss of performance, but rather an increase.

The data will be stored in a specially developed database. Currently there are 40 columns in the main table and we are not finished yet. What can be automated will of course be automated, we use many different api interfaces of various services. A lot of data will be correlated to simplify the presentation. It is better to see that the last wallet update was released 234 days ago instead of 15.9.2019.

The goal is that every user can get an impression behind the scenes within a short time. I will continue to expand the blog area and divide it into different sections.  There are really many things to report about. I have already deactivated the forum again, because it was useless.

This is the "new" plan. And it couldn't be better suited to "GOSSIP".

The GOSSIP v2.2.2 wallet will prevent 100% duplicate IPv4 and IPv6 IP's for masternodes. To run multiple nodes on one IP is the biggest crap for a masternode network. And I found a very big security issue in all PIVX based wallets. About this I can't speak now, will announce it later.
