The answer to your question lies in your statement. Mobile phones are small and have a limited battery life. Mining computers NEED a huge amount of electricity to solve mathematical problems. And since mobile are still inferior to computers or laptops, mining using a phone will be impossible to this date.

It is a new concept that proof of work based on mobile mining.I think Electroneum is the first project to come up with the concept. hey have introduce a new mining app for mobile mining. But there are many criticism for that app. But i think if the project is really based on the mobile mining it can really be call a decentralized network. Where every user will get equal weight in the network. Hadron.cloud is also creating a similar ecosystem based on browser mining. It is suitable fr mobile devices as well.
Then there are few new projects based on mobile games. They are introducing proof of work for playing games on those apps.
Nw the paradigm is shifting from asci miners to mobile mining.

People are already mining on mobile devices  but I think it is inefficient. Without a doubt, mining profitability on mobile devices is poor. I would personally consider mining on a mobile device a waste of time.

In order to mine the best coin at the moment, that's doing well in the market, you could start “Smart Mining” which lets the software decide on what to mine. Once you sign up and mine, you can select the speed at which it should mine.

But I would still advise stay safe and don’t even try to mine with your phone. There is no logic to back that up.

To be honest i think even if mining comes to smartphones the output would be low and your phone battery will drain quickly too so i do not think it will be practical a new coin that claim to introduce mobile mining called electroneum still seem to be struggling and nothing great is happening at the moment for that project.

Mining on a smartphone is, in my opinion, a bad idea. There are other ways to earn money using the phone.
This is all sorts of different games that appear now every day. Cryptokitties, crypto galaxy, Ether online and many others. These games do not use much power, it's just a regular game application.
However, you can play and earn.

Everyone knows how complicated it is to mine cryptocurrencies and how much energy the mining computers utilize to solve the mathematical problems to find new coins. But do you think mining could ever be done on cell phones?

It is not working because mobile devices are not a very powerful and so it cannot be much possible in small devices that’s why till the crypto mining in mobile devices will not executed till now .

I tried crypto mining on my phone, I would not advise anyone to do it because it almost crashed my phone. My phone got so hot that I was scared it would explode, it slowed down all of the apps on my phone and my battery ran like it was in the olympics. Finally my phone just stopped responding and I had to restart it to get it to work again.

I think that no, it will be possible for some new coins that are still easy to mining, and for bitcoin or ethereum it is unrealistic

Already Electroneum coin mining is available in cell phone. But our cell hash rate is very much lesser than the GPU mining so this not successful mining. Cellphone processor is anytime damaged or broken is possible so better we should avoid in cell phone mining our cell phone will be safe.

It has done by a project just like ETN but there is no usefulness to use our phone to mining. In fact the purpose of mining to help the network to secure its decentralized thing but it's waste a lot of energy and the majority of developers are looking for an alternative way that more conservative compared with mining. Staking becomes the best thing right now.

Mining on smartphones, in my opinion, is not feasible. The use of the smartphone for mining will quickly damage the phone because it must work continuously, and the mining performance from the smartphone is very low, only suitable for some easy-to-mining crypto like Monero. In the future there will be separate equipment for coin-mining, we will not need to use the computer with an appropriate configuration anymore.

Mobile phones will never be good for crypto mining, you answered this question yourself in your topic. Phones are to weak for mining because it needs a lot of power, what is too high requirement for cell phones

in 2017, there was once a coin that could be mined through a mobile phone, if not mistakenly called cripterium (CMIIW). some successful people do it.
but what about the risk of damage to the phone, because we know, the mining process takes a lot of energy and causes the hardware to become very hot. is this proportional to the results obtained?

Just think on how GPU's and asic miners consumes energy just to mine though it's adjustable, you can also do the same thing if you'll mine with mobile. But for someone that has a very busy life to live on, you'll end up giving it up.
But do you think mining could ever be done on cell phones?
Yes it can be but not actually mining, it's like a virtual mining which the software most likely sees you mining but it really isn't it. Check ETN mobile mining.

Difficulties are increasing, how much hashrate will you get for a mobile device? You'll just burn your phone if you are very enthusiast with it.

But do you think mining could ever be done on cell phones?
It can ever be done AFAIK, Samsung has entered manufacturing mining, creating chips that is specialized for mining. But I don't think it will be healthy for a normal mobile phone to do that.

I don't see any cryptocurrencies to utilize mobile phones. Mining needs big spaces, higher processor, big computer, stable internet, and electricity. We can't use mobile phones to mine our cryptocurrencies. They highly recommended to do such things in your computer with highest gpu model.

You need to stay at least 23 hours a day when mining, so you really need some power to keep it running and run some program to check the status of your computers to check their conditions, but the mining you refers about using your mobile phone is faucet  I believe and that is very different matter.

They are all versions of bitconnect. As much the volume of blockchain increased, it becomes difficult to the cell proceessor to treat it. It's almost impossible for now to do mining using your mobile fine.

Mobile miner is shit. Electronouem claim that can be mine via mobile phone. In fact , it is not mobile miner but it is airdrop. Mobile miner hash is very low when compared with CPU, GPU or asic miners. They are great and best miner hardware ever. If any new invention to mine with low electrycity power, the coin will be booming and be mined by everyone. However, till now there are no coins like that.

I think mining on a smartphone is entirely possible with the ICO Token. At present, very few ICOs develop mining systems, so the mining of Token is not feasible. If in the future ICOs can be mine, the use of mobile for mining is easy to do.

I have not tried it yet, but electroneum according to some mobile miner can be mine but I would not even try that because its true that it will drain and shorten the lifespan of your battery I prefer mining through a desktop if I am going to mine cryptocurrency it's more convenient and energy saver.

It will be another revolution if mining coming in a smartphone. Recently I have seen an app on Play Store that named Electronium. Someone referred me that app, and I used that's an app for a test. And, wonder I earned 4 ETN coin in a day!! That was really amazing. So, we can really hope that Crypto mining will come in mobile phone fully.

I think mining on the phone is not effective compared to the laptop / computer and VGA. Because the phone has a hardware characteristic that has not been able to mining and in terms of battery it is limited

Mining on mobiles is purely a hobbyist activity, no one else would want to waste their battery life for the sake of a few cents each day. Only way I could see it working is mining periodically aka whenever you need to make a transaction it automatically becomes part of the network to mine/verify transactions. Much like with GPS or bluetooth it'll be something you turn on and off when needed.

with a small durability and the phone is created not to mine, really a lot of risks that will get. I'm sure the results are also not how and slightly mined using the phone. do not mine with a simple road using a mobile phone, buy a mining device used to mine to get maximum results.

I think this can be done, but it is almost impossible to reach a satisfying gain with cell phones. Because I think high temperature would be a very bad affect on the running of the phones.

Mining seems to be completely unprofitable on a single mobile phone. It takes too much computing power and energy. Surely no satisfactory results will be achieved. You can do it just for fun.

There are ways to participate in mining activities with a mobile phone, but the results will not be good. The user will receive very limited amount of coin while likely doing damage to their phone’s battery life. It would be fun just to try and say you did it, but it isn’t something to do Long term.

If there's a company that will create powerful smart phones that can be dedicated to mine, I wouldn't buy it.

Parts of smart phones are tiny and the heat can cause it to break and lose on it's original status. In electronics, the tinier the part is the more vulnerable it is.

Mining is the lot of professionals who are ready to invest in a relatively new technology. In the production of crypto currency competition reigns, and it is not about smartphones, but about specialized hardware. Smartphone is not physically designed for long-term loads! Passive cooling does not provide sufficient heat dissipation, as a result, a number of problems arise. From banal battery damage, to pasting the display module, or hidden degradation of a single-chip system. No mobile mining will not pay off the failure of the main components.

I've been doing some mobile mining recently with with Minergate, just to try it out. Started to mine for Bytecoin (BCN). I can say that was a disappointment :). After 1 whole week I got 1 BCN....so not really worth my while.

However, if you can:

1) charge your phone on a solar charger
2) live in a place where it is still rewarding when looking at local wages and such

But as others said already, I don't think mobile mining will be that interesting to many.

mine using a mobile phone can do. but it is futile. There will be no guarantee of getting great results if mine over the phone. energy used must be great to be able to get the resulting mining is also great. Perhaps one might say don't mine using cell phones because it will damage your mobile phone if forced.

I agree that there's not good results on mining at your android mobile phones, because its not guaranteed to last for a long time and the mined transactions will be lesser compared to the large mining computers. That's really prone to phone damage if you wanted to do that by eagerness, then you should follow advises here so that you will not end up regrets in the future.

Hopefully it would happen, so that all of us can enjoy the life of being a crypto miners even using only cheap gadgets like cellphones, and cellphones are easy to carried away or can be bring even you were on travels or in office works. So it is good to used cellphones for crypto mining.

The computing power of mobile phones are not very good to be used for mining and it could end up dangerously slowing down the devices and hindering the working capacities of the phones. Also we have to take into consideration the fact that mining consumes a lot of power which could pose a significant strain on the batteries of the phone thereby shortening their lifespan and batter performance.

It can be done on smartphone but would be less effective and almost not productive as smartphone batteries do not last as much as that of a PC. I n order to get a desired result in mining you need large number of electricity and a smartphone cannot generate this amount of electricity. For me, I think it would be a bad idea to mine on a smartphone.

That's right , but we can never know how the technology might evolve. I'm sure will be seeing companies trying to provide this solutions and offer crypto mining Chips adapted to a mobile hardware. Why wouldn't you buy a powerful smartphone that is also featuring mining?
Yes technology is evolving and there will be things that will come which we didn't expect to upgrade.

It can be possible in the future that you can mine with powerful smartphones but still considering it's size and compatibility, I don't really think it will be good for mining.

I think mining using a mobile device is not feasible at all can be called not very effective in mining performance, mining using a mobile device can only make a broken smartphone because in a performance mining should be continuously working and it could make a smartphone a machine will generate heat.dan I will never do mining through a mobile device I think it will only hurt myself.
