Post by: malikhaxor on May 11, 2018, 02:58:33 PM
Btc transaction still unconfirmed after hours. Actually, i'm so much worried because it is mine important invoice payment transaction and it has tp be confirmed before 4 hours otherwise my account will get suspended  :( I didn't knew that it will gonna take much time.

Guys please let me know if there is way to confirm it fast? I've tried all accelerator like viabtc pool etc. I'm ready to pay extra btc to make it confirm fast BEFORE 4 hours. Please any help will be much appreciated!!!!

Is 1LCeG3CqsT1GyKKc784n27xuaCUmtJsXWE your address?
If so there are enough funds to do a CPFP transaction.

If your wallet doesn't support it, import your seed or private key into Mycelium, go to the transactions tab, highlight the transaction, press the menu button and click "bump fee/CPFP" it'll create a child-pays-for-parent transaction that pays for both transactions incentivizing a miner to add it into a block.

In the meantime I've sent it to Antpool's transaction acceleration service, so it may get confirmed soon.

It still unconfirmed. Try doing the that Xynerise advised. Hope it goes confirmed soon. Next time add some extra fee for transactions like this which are time sensitive (BEFORE 4 hours and stuffs)

that address keeps sending back the change amount to its ownself
I've never seen an exchange do that with its addresses. which exchange is that?
are you sure it's an exchange wallet and not a web wallet with built-in exchange

Currently, it's already 25 confirmations.
Did it made it through the invoice time limit? I guess no.

I never seen an exchange withrawal transaction that used one input (not batching txs).
And the address starts with "1", Coinbase.com?

I remember seeing some of the shittier exchanges (and gambling sites) that were doing things like this when the mempool was flooded... as they would also "spend" unconfirmed change, this would end up generating chains of like 50+ unconfirmed transactions. ::)

There were countless "It's been X hours, transaction not confirmed! HELP!!!1!!!!!1111!!!!"-type threads that popped up in the "Technical Support" board back in December/January that featured this sort of thing.

Do you have an unconfirmed transaction too?
Open a new thread with details or post your TX ID here.

Ugh, I remember those days. I started out trying to help like others, before realising after a while that most of them had repeatedly spent low-fee txs, and were just looking for a free ride.

In fact, @OP, I recognise your name and this isn't the first time you've experienced this... it's a real shame exchanges are still skimping on fees when they're already quite low now. Time to ditch that exchange, I'd say, no? For important txs like yours, need to use your own wallet to pay the right fees for the desired confirmation time.

Electrum is another wallet that can employ CPFP, and its available for desktop.
