Title: I'm having trouble with my wallet Post by: mobgoblin37 on December 17, 2013, 09:44:19 AM I'm new here, so forgive any ignorance on my part. I'm no longer able to access my electrum wallet. I reinstalled it (I still had the original download file in my downloads from months back.) and it still doesn't open. I was still using version 1.8.1 so I thought maybe I needed to upgrade to 1.9.6 and maybe that would fix it but every time I go to the electrum website to download the new version, I get the "Server not found" error webpage when I attempt to access the download links? I'm still unsure what the problem is or if this is a solution. My wallet has been working fine for months then suddenly it begins having issues? I've looked through the forums and have read about others having trouble similar to mine but I have not yet encountered a solution. I'm using Windows XP and my seed isn't the issue because I'm unable to access the client to input my seed and I no longer have the files as I thought I wouldn't need to back them up as long as I retained my seed. I believe they were deleted when I uninstalled the original client. I'd like to know why I'm unable to access my wallet, why I'm unable to access the the version 1.9.6 download?

I'm still unsure as to why it has quit working on my other computer or why I can't reinstall it properly? Anyone know when the download links on electrum.org will be fixed for the new version?
