Title: What options do i have regarding buying BTC from Brazil? Post by: TiagoTiago on February 22, 2011, 03:47:50 PM I live on Brazil, i do have access to an international credit card (not mine, but of someone i know), i have a savings account on bank Itau but i got someone that has a full account there too.

Post by: Mahkul on February 22, 2011, 03:51:15 PM One option is to find someone who wants to buy something somewhere with a credit card. Buy it for them and get them to give you bitcoins in exchange.

It would be nice if someones that happens to know Ruby on Rails and has some spare time could implement a PagSeguro plugin to bitcoin-central. PagSeguro is a sort of Brazilian paypal, but they don't do chargebacks. Of course, they charge quite high fees for credit card payments, but Brazilians could use less expensive forms of payment (boleto, TEF).
