Title: DogeCoin wallet not syncing at all Post by: monbux on December 17, 2013, 09:15:34 PM A bit pissed off, as for I opened it, waiting 30 minutes, then disabled firewall, and waited another 30. No syncing at all; no connections available. I can sync all the other wallets, bitcoin, litecoin, and other altcoins but why not this one? I already have the dogecoin.conf file like they said, and I am running windows 8. Help?

Copy/paste this code into dogecoin.conf file in the wallets' folder. rpcuser=doge rpcpassword=wow addnode=67.205.20.10 addnode=162.243.113.110 rpcport=22555 server=1 daemon=1 Is this the same as you have used? It doesn't look like it's running in the programs/... :/ C>Users>PC Name>App DATA>Roaming>Dogecoin folder Do not see an App DATA section in my users to PC name section. Open notepad and enter the following: Code: rpcuser=doge Then restart the wallet. C>Users>PC Name>App DATA>Roaming>Dogecoin folder Do not see an App DATA section in my users to PC name section. You have to enable viewing of hidden files. Does anyone have some other/better nodes that I could add? Installed it a couple days ago, sync'd it and it was all good but then it stopped showing on screen. Basically, it's running, I can see it in the system tray. If you right click the icon in the system tray you get a menu: Show/Hide is the first option, but it won't show. All other options do work but the wallet itself wont show. It's like stuck in permanent Hide mode. I did reboot. I did uninstall and re-install wallet. My .conf file is as above posts suggest. How Bizarre... How Bizarre.. |
