Title: Best place to get in line for GPU's?
Post by: BittBurger on December 18, 2013, 02:38:52 AM
Every site I see has GPU's on back order right now.

Some say January 1.

Another says they ordered 290 and there are 650 on back order.

I would like to get a Radeon R9 280x ... (well three).

Any suggestions on best place to "get in line" (back order myself) for the earliest possible next shipment?

Maybe based on website size, typical inventory amounts, etc?

Or ... if you know any site anywhere in the world that still has them ... please PM me.

Thanks.

Except for local B&M stores you're probably out of luck.  The scypters (pun intended) buy up the cards as soon as they're available.

Try buying them on the forums.  They be used, but if you use an escrow you should be OK trading with established traders.

google "check4change addon" for firefox.

if you dont use firefox, google "check4change for [insert browser]"

if you need more info on how to use it, pm me.  if you're from the US, newegg may be your best bet as they have been getting a lot of stock lately (but keep overpricing the snot out of it)

The difficulty is increasing really fast every few days and the price of litecoin is dropping, you might want to reconsider your risk...
