Title: Is there any cryptos resistible to crashing?
Post by: elelegzet on December 18, 2013, 07:48:26 AM
I don't like those bitcoin price crashes. Could anyone propose me more stable solutions? Stablecoin, Globe ? Doges ;) (the only which grows when other falls)?

Lets just hope the crash continues and kills of some of the useless alts. (I hold a lot of useless alts myself.)

Doubt it will be possible in the traditional sense. Unless the cryptocurrency is pegged or backed by something and in that case, you are probably better off buying commodities.

As long alt coins are traded agains BTC, there is not much you can do as watching your coins getting less and less "worthy"

Wel doge is cheaper right now as it was yesterday  ::) also i have a whole lot of doubts about the price. Why? because of all the fake prices created a few days ago on coinedup.com. Actualy the price has been manipulated sinds went on coinedup.com

This isn't a 'crash', but merely a correction, another correction, to the mean.

See this, and realize this wild and crazy marketplace full of amatuer traders and fear based panic sell-off's is the norm. Not the exception.

 Expect this to continue.

Buckle up, brace for it, relax, sleep tight. And don't panic sell low only to have to rebuy later at a higher price again and again!

and for a live chart worthy of mentioning:

It's not a "Crash". But of course the shills and amateurs both will say just that.

Heck, now is a great time to Buy again. Not Sell! In fact as the dust settles that is exactly what will resume and at a much better price thus tempting hordes more to come rushing in like fools always do (without doing any due diligence).

Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware!

Yeah the answer is simple just do an analysis of all the things that dont crash or correct.

You know legitimate things like say :

The Stock market

The Bond market.

The housing market.

The Fiat issues notes .

^^^^^^ all these free markets never/rarely correct  , them and ah .... Dogecoin of course.

So now you know what to invest in !

Go all in! If you dont want crashes !

Just have a look at http://coinmarketcap.com/ . You will see 53 reds and one green.
Only DOGE gained market value in past 24 hours.
My investment advice is very popular but its also the trueth:
"Dont hold all your eggs in one basket"

I have one comment to your  "lol" post.

Only idiots didnt realise that it was a bug. And this bug was not caused by coinmarketcap but coinedup data feed.

You can't have fixed price on cryptos, WTF?
What would you use to back it up? FIAT? Gold? Silver? Any other sort of Index?
We are still in price discovery

Oh wait, he mentioned doge.. nevermind
