Title: Cudaminer Improvements
Post by: phen0m on December 18, 2013, 07:54:11 AM
I suspect this will be overlooked, however I figured I'd post it anyway and perhaps it can be moved/attached to the appropriate thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0

I run a dual platform (NV/AMD) setup with 1 NV GTX680 and 1 AMD R9 280X.

GTX680 (cudaminer 2013-12-01): ~210Kh/s K16x16 +50MHz GPU temp 72C (Ambient temp: ~18C)
GTX680 (cudaminer 2013-12-18): ~310Kh/s K16x16 (autotune) +50MHz 78C (Ambient temp: ~18C)

That is a phenomenal improvement!  Well done and thanks!!

Better yet, my cgminer output on the 280X was consistently decreased by ~50Kh/s when concurrently running cudaminer 2013-12-01.  That performance penalty is gone with the new version of cudaminer, giving me a total improvement of ~150Kh/s.

Unlike others, I never experienced stuttering video on either version.

I registered specifically to voice approval of the new improvements in cudaminer - I'm seeing a 780Ti board well above 575kh/s! Fantastic work!

The performance of my GTX560 has increased from an average 108 khash/s to 127 khash/s with the latest 2013-12-18 version!

Great job, thanks a lot!

I'm currently at 270ish with the new cudaminer :) on my 680 stock clocks.
