Title: Any way to bring yuan onto any chinese exchange? All attempts failing
Post by: jackie007 on December 18, 2013, 11:17:17 AM
I've just tried a way to find a way to recharge fiat onto any of the chinese exchanges (huobi.com, okcoin, btcchina) but I am getting rejected.

on OKCoin

Basically it is saying there is no way of adding new CNY for now (maybe forever?), and withdrawals will take 24 hours.
I tried to make an online recharge anyway but didn't get past the first page, got this error from yeepay.

on Huobi.com
为响应国家政策,火币网于12月18日正式关闭第三方支付接口,目前火币网支持银行转账、汇款充值。
Same deal, basically can't add new funds, either by bank deposit or third party payment

BTCChina has a message on the front page saying I can't input funds.

Any way to buy btc in china now apart from face to face meeting with cash? Should I wait until it hits 1000 CNY? 500CNY? I think it might bounce eventually, so I want funds ready.

High of the last bubble in china was 2000 yuan which is current low. 2000 yuan for me is the best price you will probably get for a long time. Anyway did you try bitstamp or other no chinese exchanges?

I guess you can get better answer in the chinese board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=30.0
At least, the info there should be more updated and more likely to be "correct".

it was just in the news yesterday or the day before: the chinese government banned businesses in china from dealing with exchanges

So when do the "smart" chinese people realize there are more currencys other than yuan and cryptos?

Is there any restriction to normal people in china to make a wire transaction to other exchanges in the world??. For example the Czech Republic does not have a exchange and there is no problem to use other exchanges around the world
