Title: Mining Monero?

I know monero is not sha256 like bitcoin but i couldn't find a forum for cryptonight, well, the baikal giant n+ has 40KH/S. That means about 50$ a day mining monero!! There gotta be a catch with this since it's also 130W it's outta this world, WHAT'S THE CATCH PLEASE TELL ME

Here's the catch

Monero has been forked, and has scheduled fork to kick ASIC

Like leonix already said, MONERO is unminable with ASICs now. Big companies were indeed mining XMR with ASICs for quite some time and bagged some nice profits doing so.

Just be careful though as Monero is the one that was forked to re-continue ASIC-resistance and Monero Original & Monero Classic are pro Asic/Asic friendly.  The naming conventions are a bit deceptive though.
