We don't need to worry about the news of facebook creates their own crypto coin, and let us wait for that kind of facebook coin, hopefully it will succeed. Maybe there is a big possibility that if facebook created a crypto coin, that coin will be a very popular coin and create a high market price value, because it  reflects to the popularity of facebook that majority of people are now accessing on facebook.

I think so. Facebook is going to create their own cryptocurrency.
If they make it possible then a new way will be opened before us.

Another centralized token is going to be created by a massive company.
Nothing to worry about at all, at most, this token is going to be used for companies to pay for ads for facebook, or for users to buy things on games based on facebook.
Facebook doesn't have any impact on the cryptocurrency market and they are not even going to come out with an ICO.

Then if that's the case, don't be hype about this because it will be a private token sale and not applicable for us. They will find a good investor group for their own project. It will looks like Telegram, that have a secretively ICO. It's a sure win situation where your money will grow but the problem is they'll not allow anyone to invest on it.

There maybe some truth in it. I mean why else would Facebook ban every other cryptocurrency adverts on their platform? I see it as a strategic way to eliminate the competition. Facebook has the massive community. So integrating cryptocurrency into their platform won't be unrealistic

I think if facebook really will make their own crypto then it is a great advancement and it seems to be very easy for them because we know that facebook is one of the social media worldwide and almost everyone knows it.

At this time these are only rumors and even if they decide to make one I do not see them to release it any time soon. I do think since it's "blockchain research group" that they might think about how the blockchain can benefit them and ways to implement it if it makes sense to their back end system. Something like hyperledger is trying to build - blockchain for business world without any token/coin. Only time will unveil their thoughts I guess.

If this happen it would have a great impact in the market like it would became a trillion market cap instead of billion and also many people would continue to support the bitcoin, and we know that facebook is one of the best social media that we have I hope we can participate on their ICO.

Its pretty hard to tell what kind of a future these types of coins have.

This news has been circulating for a long time. everyone does not know what is meant by facebook to make their own coins. facebook prohibits the existence of crypto ads in it. but now facebook will issue a coin.
we will see the news that will circulate next and wait whether facebook will actually make a coin.

We can not be sure about it at the moment, as the fb representative has said that they will look into blockchain tech and try to use it in their platform, this does not effectively mean that they will launch their own coin, this can mean that they will use blockchain tech or smart contracts on their platform to make it more efficient.

Many news has spread and some articles are fake however if this possible to happen i think this facebook coin  will bring a big contribute in crypto world and The demand of crypto coin will suddenly increase because lots of people will attempt to involve in crypto.

It is realy good news, but only fo facebook, i think it will be like with telegram only for some kind of person,not for all.

If facebook wants to launch its own crypto currency, how do they explain the blocking of ICO advertising. And while they write that they will not conduct ICO, then they will sell their coins and what will they be needed for? Something about this does not add up.

Well if Facebook have decided in making their own Cryptocurrency then I think that will be great, And apart from this new coin I really think that Facebook will then removed other competitor that will be shared on Facebook but aside from other Coins as well let's just hope it will not be the story and Facebook will just help other ICO's to advertise it because I really think Facebook is on the lime-tight and working with their own token can be a great success already.

Yes, I've heard this elsewhere. It does seem genuine. The world is slowly starting to take notice of crypto. We can expect much more of this from big internet companies. In the dotcom boom, everyone who was anyone had one of these new website things. This time around the thing to have to prove you are a big player is your own cryptocurrency.

I do not know what's good about that FAceboock will make its own currency! What will be the meaning and what options does this coin need for people to buy it? I believe that they just want to make money on this and attract attention to themselves.

to be honest facebook still accept crypto related content but only the classified ICO, and etc  except those sites known as ponzi schemes that can destroy the reputation of facebook..But anyways about that article i think its good idea if facebook create their own crypto currency 'cause it's a big help also to promote other crypto currencies in the market especially bitcoin.. And perhaps there's a chance facebook to replace bitcoin because of being popular which cause to create a masive demand in the market and over take bitcoin.

I'm not sure about overtaking but FB's coin would definitely be a strong competitor for bitcoin. Not in the last because of Facebook's popularity

The very known topic is that Facebook is making their own coin. They says it is not true because they banned ICO other says it is true. Well it's exciting to hear that from my own side and I bet it'll be great participating in their ICO because it'll be adventurous and eventually make it tall out of all others and the reason for my optimism is because facebook is strong already and their ICO definitely will have great team,  with facebook popularity they won't be struggling for advertising and promotion to get big investors which will definitely make it a huge success

Honestly I wouln't be surprised. It makes total sense, but still you never know if they will actually raise funds with that (do an ICO) or only create the app in the blockchain which would create some competitive advantages.

Don't ever underestimate facebook by saying it is an advertising trash. These guys know exactly what they are doing by developing complex algorithms to track users and to keep their main focus on the platform and to stay as long as they can. They are making money out of ads and that is just basically what they do. They haven't stated anywhere about starting their own cryptocurrency, but this is what media and crypto news websites made up because it keeps people interested on reading their articles. As far as till today there is no official announcements made regarding cryptocurrency, they are experimenting with blockchain, but this does not mean cryptocurrency itself.

I think it's very cool. Because if such giants plan to do cryptocurrency, then this gives us confidence that cryptocurrency are really up to date.

This certainly will be increasingly raised the name and quality of crypto. Initially Facebook ban the advertisement of crytos, then not long they came up with the news of creating their own coin which I think is very possible because trying to relate the reason why they will stop the advertisement of other cryptos will either be because they want to have their own coin and wont want others to use their medium to publish or sell their brands. What I think concerning them creating their own coin is that when it eventually comes out, it'll attract huge number of investors because they have already set a good standard for the masses and the project will succeed.

We don't need to panic if Facebook wants to launch its own cryptocurrency. Definitely, it will succeed. It has all what it takes to be successful. Let's wait patiently till then when Facebook will launch its coin.

As stated in the report, Facebook has no intention of launching an ICO if ever it creates its own cryptocurrency. The main purpose of the idea is to use the decentralized feature of the blockchain system to address some of its most bothersome problems like identity verification or advertising sales. I think Mark Z. saw the benefits of integrating the blockchain technology into Facebook's system which is why he created a small group specifically for this function. Though it was also stated that it would most likely be years before this idea would materialize, I'm pretty sure that this will push through.

There is nothing wrong with creating coin for themselves, in fact anyone can create their own cryptocurrency and we have nothing to do if facebook decide to create their own crypto besides they have the capacity to create and handle Legit ICO. I think this is the main reason why facebook ban crypto because they want to promote their own crypto currency.

There is no rule that says a social media giant cannot create their own coin. If it does turn out that this is the case then the facebook currency would be a good one to buy into. Facebook is already popular so their coin would get a lot of publicity with a lot of people wanting to get into the project. This will make the coin have a lot of value.
