Title: Dogecoins
Post by: Getzin0 on December 18, 2013, 04:46:59 PM
Just wondering but what is the current exchange rate for dogecoins to bitcoins? Obviously bitcoins are worth far more and easier to sell so I just wanted to know how many bitcoins I'd get for say...1000 dogecoins.

Also if possible, can you link me to a webpage to exchange my dogecoins. Thanks  :)

I think the only place you can exchange Dog for BTC is: https://coinedup.com/OrderBook?market=DOGE&base=BTC

I also don't understand the poll.

I'm really not sure how many people actually think they'll make money off Doge. It seems to be something people have been having fun with, but once real money gets involved people start doing stupid things.

Uhh sorry, I meant to say:

much stupid

so loss

It is fun though with at least one cryptocurrency with green numbers these, if it will last? Only time will tell. The whole price manipulation on  crypsy last night wasn't the best either as it caused everyone to wanting to sell...pushing the price in the wrong direction. But we will see, its a fun coin, thats for sure :)

Well, it's not so obvious for a non-native english speaker. Unfortunately.

dogecoin
so awesome
such funny
very meme

Seriously, dogecoin has some sentimental value. I'm going to mine a bit of those so I can use the dogetipbot over on reddit, it seems nice and fun.  ;D
It doesn't seem it will ever reach the price of bitcoins, but I don't think it is going away... It's not BTC, so it's not the first, and it doesn't have the interesting technological application of Namecoin, and Litecoin has the critical mass to remain #2 for a long time...

But dogecoin is awesome. Never underestimate a good name.

I know how you feel.  Every time I start mining on fastpool my accepted rate start ok but after a few minutes it drops right off and my shares don't increase but my hash rate stays at 700k.  Since I'm new at this I don't know why.

Same problem here. Locked it up so had to create an acount here make some post and wait 4 hours before i can send them a message in their thread or even send them a PM to get my account unlocked. Would be alot easier if they would just setup their support contact info lol but what can ya do. been loving their pool so far though ^_^
